Blackberry is a business phone mainly for corporate or business.
To the ordinary person it isn't much but for business and corporate for emails and etc, it is superb.
As for the internet on the phone being fast? The answer is YES, it flys through the internet like no other phone I have had.
Went to the Cingular store ready to buy a Treo. Salesgirl said Blackberry is better for web connection than Treo. Anyone agree?
no wifi? no cardslot? Waste of money, if it wasnt for Blackberry's monopoly through businesses, no one would buy these pieces of plastic. Get a real smart phone.
Who would want one of these stupid email phones they are so not cool!!!!!!!!!
helpful tip: You can use MP3 ringtones.
MP3 ringtones are limited to
no function?!!! no bluetooth, wifi, card slot!!!! this phone sucks!!! why do people think these phone are pimp??!!! they are pimples!!!

Does anyone know if this device can be used as a wireless modem? I want to plug it into my Laptop and be able to surf on the laptop totally wireless. Is this possible?
Known as 8700g on O2 UK. Comes with Yahoo Messenger downloaded. Check out the O2 website
Vodafone in the UK
please could anyone tell me about the messenger and what sort of messenger it is thank you
This device is exclusive to T-Mobile in the UK for time being. T-Mobile seem to be the only network interested in consumer data products and have decent customer support
what is the compatible network provider in UK?
I would suggest go for BlackBerry 8700c…this is an amazing blackberry …..it’s keep’s u connected on the go!!! It operates on the latest high speed wireless networks and provides chief BB functionalities!!! You get uncompromising email, browsing and voice performance in one thin, stylish, lightweight handheld with a full QWERTY keyboard…….i personnaly rely on inods.com for reviews see if it helps u!!!
Hi,
I am looking to purchase a BB, am trying to find out all the pros and cons but so far would seem a good buy. My main query is, while away from my office, can the BB be sync to my PC so back at the office I can read mail with attachments. I still want my mail to go to my PC as well as BB.
Sidekick II is pure trash. Go read reviews on it.
This is hands down, the best Blackberry I have ever had. Far and away the best. Fast, the screen rocks. And the service has een great. I go to Europe once a month and have used this phone and data in Rome, Dublin, and Venince. It supports EDGE. My only issue is the phone picks up alot of background noise. So a good BT headset is a must....
Hello Fellow Mobile Colleagues,
I currently own an original Rogers Wireless Palm Treo 650. As you probably know, it is an excellent unit. The only thing I don't like about it, is that the keyboard keys are too small and they are too close together. It is very difficult for me to get at them. I am forced to use the stylus to press them. As you can imagine, this is extremely frustrating.
Would this issue be solved with the Blackberry 8700r? How is the key layout of the Blackberry 8700r?
Please let me know. Thank you.
Pretty good ... I should buy this one or the sidekick II ???
