This is bad joke form BlackBerry!
BlackBerry Aurora isn't developed by TCL, but by an Indonesian company called BB Merah Putih (sounds like Putin) under an agreement to sublicense.
From what I have read on the Internet, this company BB Merah Putih owns rights to use BlackBerry brand ONLY for Indonesia. Therefore it is possible that this terminal can be available only for Indonesian market.
Possibly brought by less formal methods in other countries, but this is where the issues of warranty and servicing steps in.
Seriously, BlackBerry? From Canada to Mexic, from China to Indonesia! What's next, Africa or some planet recently discovered by NASA?
Is 3500mAh and 1080p too much? Because there are countless devices from China that have these specs at this price. Same specs, but with the BlackBerry brand, the security suite and all these advantages and there you have.
Or maybe at least have an SD430 (or 653/625, that would be better) just to make proper use of that RAM. That poor thing is just too weak.
This phone is... almost perfect for its price.
If only it had a 1080p display and a larger battery, I believe it could sell good.
I mean why the hell will Blackberry roll out a 5.5inch sceeen with such a low resolution...Smh...
Salabh, 09 Mar 2017Is it available in india ? Price and release date?Nope for this phone is exclusively for indonesian market only made by PT BB Merah Putih not TCL, indian and global market have different exclusive agreement with blackberry
they must make blackberry max with the specifications of aurora
blackberry max with 4500mah or even 5000mah battery
just with big battery that'll make buying of aurora reasonabl
look at this phone
with 5000mah battery have 170g weight & 8mm thinckness
why it's so heavy & so thickness!
178g & 8.5mm !!!!! there is no huge battery, it must be 7 or 7.5 mm
no ac dual wifi band
no fast charge
no big battery
there is no notable point to prefer it to the others phone
For Indonesia....if will buy smartphone with security quality with mid level choose BB aurora, but if will buy smarphone with security quality, style and low level choose Iphone.

What do you mean? It's a 64-bit CPU.Addressing is not just related to system bus.
When you want to manage your RAM in order not to just waste resource and battery usage, you need proper amount of RAM.
When you open tasks in background, you use specific amount of RAM to do tasks.
When a Processor is engaged in different tasks and transfer processed data to RAM for further use, there is no interval to keep other amount of RAM in proper use. So, 4GB RAM is active and uses battery, but the amount of it that, SD425 with 4 core can process at a time and reserve processed data to RAM is half of 4GB. so 2GB spare block for 2GB under usage. The power consumption here is uncontrollable and in long term it affects both operation and power usage.
It is a phone which is processing power is not on par active resources.

Ya ur right guys itz specs seem to be outdated but I think dual sim from blackberry is new.....
I do not understand BB? & What? They want to make a comeback?
They recently launched two devices i.e., Aurora & KeyOne. Both are incomplete.
Although KeyOne, design/looks wise is a classy phone, something different than the looks of the masses, it lack dual SIM, & perhaps the chipset, not to mention the price. Perhaps more people would buy Keyone if it was dual SIM .
And the Aurora, overpriced & lower mid range that too without a fingerprint sensor.
Come-on BB, you want to make a comeback to your Glory days? Sense the ground realities or it wont be long that you would fade in oblivion.
