Yes, it has bluetooth which works wonderfully
And for sms and emails, there's nothing better than BB BOLD
Very highly recommended, been using it for 4 months, and so far it's my best purchase of mobile phone / smartphone ever =)

I have loaded both google maps and turn by turn natigation from Amaze which isn't the best, does anybody know of a free GPS map download?

I have had most of the BB range of phones and to be honest the bold is probably the best of them all. The graphics, sound card and screen resoltion are fantastic and although larger than than the curve it does make for easier mailing and texting

Hi..........I've just been trying out the curve 8310 on my contract and although like it very much, I decided to send it back as I wasn't quite sure if it was the right model....wanted more time to decide( female logic!)
I have now just seen an offer for an Emerald Black 8310 which looks great,but also now wonder if I should go for this BB Bold instead....
Does anyone have any comments about which is the better of the 2 models. I would use it mainly for calls,texting and e-mails rather than wanting it for downloads, camera or GPS which would just be added extras.
Any helpful advice would be appreciated...Thanks!

one of my friend bought blackberry bold
and i m planning to buy it as well but he told me there is no bluetooth ,u cant transfer music or files from one mobile to another , please let me know if that is the case

hi i had the same problem with battery life. all i did was turned my 3g off and my phones battery life is 3 days. i only turn the 3G on when i use it. problem solved. otherwise this phone is simply the best.

With your first problem, try to upgrade your BB's version to 4.6.0.190 or more. They will fix your problem with SMS like "pending sms". I tried with 4.6.0.190 and 4.6.0.217 and they're really good. You can find them on few websites about blackberry.

I have bold for 3weeks, not really satisfied me.
Poor poor poor battery life! (½ - 1 day) menu not fast enough (delay), camera bad (2mp), not comfort to hold.
My friend tell me about N*kia E71, I buy it and it really-really make me satisfied. Battery is strong (2 - 3 days), camera 3mp (not too bad), menu fast (no delay), comfort to hold and N*kia support push email , just sign up to http://email.nokia.com for free
If you decide to buy this thing, think twice. If you really-really not like N*kia than buy this bulky thing.

I've been using the HTC touch diamond for a couple of months and im still not used t... morenihc,
In reply to your post, i had the HTC touch Pro (The diamond but with the keyboard) for 6 weeks and in that period i changed it three times. I eventually had enough of the phone (too many problems to list) and have changed to the BBB. NO regrets at all. I love the BBB and it works incredibly well. I do miss the touch screen a bit, but the track ball makes up for it as it is very easy to use.
You will not regret the move.

I've been using bold for 11 days until now and I'm completely satisfied..!!
The push email is working perfectly..
The keyboard are comfortable enough for chatting..
You can take picture and attach it to email and you can open attachment directly..!!
You can browse any web, wherever you go..!!
Everything's are working perfectly..!!
Although I'm a little disappointed (just little!) on the camera and the battery life, the camera is just 2mpx and sometimes it's difficult to take a nice picture and the life battery is just one day max..
I think those two are all the disappointment that i got from.. (even thought it's just a little disappointment)
Maybe for the future, blackberry can fix this both to make a more perfect blackberry..
Overall it is a very cool device and you must have..!!
Btw, all my friends told me to upgrade my bold..
What is the bold newest version?
Is it, v4.6.0.210?

BB bold, 03 Jan 2009I have upgraded to the Bold, it is pretty impressive! I have had a BB pearl in the past and it... moreone of my friends had a similar problem, just call your phone provider, you have to delete something...a lot of the bb bold's are having this problem but it is minor and should be a quick fix
