i traded in my N95 (w/c i had been using for a year) for this phone.. this is my first BB and so far its been great! its easy to use, battery life is adequate can go 3 days with mod use w/out charging it. I thought it would be really bulky but its not.. not much of a difference in size from the curve. but it weighs less than the N95 for sure.
My father got one. The menu is way too simple and the camera is nothing compared to the other smart phones on market. You're better off getting a Nokia or a Motorola
Where's my camerafree Bold??? C'mon RIM, BB is not a child's play!!

E, 23 Dec 2008I'm planning to buy a new blackberry, which one is better curve 8900 or bold 9000?? bold 9000
Hello! I've got the Bold 9000 for about 2 weeks and I'm very pleased with it. I recommend it for all those who are in the messaging and e-mailing. It's a great phone. The camera and the battery life could both be better, but I luv it.
After experiencing 2 windows mobile devices (O2 XDA IIi & HTC TyTN II) and 1 symbian smartphone device (SE P990i), undeniably BB Bold 9000 is the ultimate communication/messaging device!!! Have been using it since 13 Dec 08 and I am VERY SATISFIED with the performance of the phone. Don't think twice!!!!! If you email and message a lot and wish to be connected with your friends and family anywhere and anytime, go for it!
This Blackberry is overrated...the Nokia E71 does everything this phone does and more, yet costs about 2/3 the price. Plus Symbian OS is better than Blackberry OS any day of the week.
I got Blackberry Bold 9000, from Rogers in Canada. I love it , Its best for mail checking , work. It still have some software glitches, But i would say keep your software updated, it will help. Speakers are amazing, Screen is best you can watch whole move in there. Rogers ( Service Provider ) control its wifi service, when ever i use it it says Rogers & My home Wireless router. I luved the design , I think RIM should get some software updates it will help. I think Latest is 4.6.
I am an Apple user and considering getting a Blackberry ,,,,,Are there any Blackberry owners out there,,who also use only Apple Imac,,,do you have any compatibility problems and does the Pocket Mac software address any /all compatability problems...ie. will i be able to sync my contacts and download updates for the phone ...???Thanks

I'm planning to buy a new blackberry, which one is better curve 8900 or bold 9000??
i bought this phone 1 month ago and i must say I LOVE IT!! i don't have a plan because i have wifi everywhere so i don't really need it. i charge my phone every 3 days after heavy usage of music and wifi and there's still a lot of battery to use. for all of you who have battery problems...i don't know... By the way, i charged it for 1 day the first day i got it so think about that. Thank you
I notice a lot of posts stating the battery life of the Bold is not as good. I am in Australia, and over here, the Blackberry comes with a plan with unlimited blackberry data and email. So I don't use conventional data access. I switched my wifi off, and I find my Bold's battery life increase significantly, almost twice as much as if I was to have my wifi on. iphone's battery life is just as bad but I realize the culprit that drains the battery juice excessively is the wifi. IF possible, deactivate the wifi and use your phone data service, this will consume less battery juice.
I am using both the iphone and blackberry bold for a couple of months now, and both are fantastic device. However, the glittering fast and smooth touch screen feature of the iphone, I find myself using the Bold more as it is more of a practical phone for me. I am big on windows live and msn so Bold is the best mobile device for such services. ANYONE WANTS TO BUY A BLACKBERRY BOLD, I totally encourage you to GO FOR IT! Its fun, addictive and really practical. Really love it, BUT don't go for the other Blackberry devices, like the Storm, its crap. Quality is bad and touch screen is more like a scrub screen, so difficult to more around. But for the Blackberry Bold - GO FOR IT!
