BOB, 17 Oct 2008I just got my Bold two days ago,the battery last only one day and I had problem with the bluet... morefor OS does it have windows mobile 6.1 or what kind of operating system it has?

I got the blackberry gold 3 weeks ago through vodafone and having problems with sms, cant send it comes up pending. Notified blackberry dont think they give a SHIT cause its been 3 weeks now. Would not recomend to anyone

Hi all,
Is it the general opinion that the web browsing on BlackBerry ain't much good?
I need to know cos I'm thinking of switching. What exactly is bad about it?

if you dont have big hands the palm treo pro is amazing compared to the bb but saying that the bb is still damn good.

I must stress to the sheep/posers getting into the BB fad (after watching movies or wherever) from a Nokia, SE, Moto, etc...you won't like BB, u're gonna have to sacrifice a LOT of functionality!
There are too many to list. Main thing is phone to phone transfers are severely limited. Your internet experience will also get limited (as BB service books allows u).
the only thing BB has going for it (if u're a personal consumer) is having a universal PIN (msg, call).
Push email is available for every imaginable phone now.
Stay away from BB unless ur work requires u to have one.

Does anyone know if a Bold provisioned as a contract handset in the UK would operate in Japan. I know it's being launched there next year.

Make sure both are set to connect without asking. The bluetooth on BB is true not as good as Nokia ones but it still will work fine...Dont worry

T.F.A, 17 Oct 2008lol thats funnny some1 unplugged yourphone while it was charging lol it should be fine though buddylol yeah man... kinda funny now I think back at it.. It was my grandmother... she didn't realize the phone was plugged into the extension cord I had it plugged into so she unplugged the cord from the wall... lol.... but it seems ok... i've used it heavily for the past day and the battery gave me virtually a day but it wasn't even totally drained yet.... today after not as heavy use but still a lot... the battery is only down to half now...

no its not touch screen, password protection and keyboard lock facility is there. all in one blackberry
