i am sorry to irritate u guys but i am still not convinced y blackberry is better than a iphone ... whts the big deal abt blackberry ... i am planning to buy blackberry but before buying i wanna make it sure if its better than the iphone .... and i hope someone can really convince me ?

thanx for the reply keez. Well blackberry doesnt have a world clock and the icons not so attractive i feel.. well i have to activate the service so that i can receive mails on my blackberry and i am from india and i never used blackberry but i heard its the best but i wanna know whts not there on the iphone which is there on the blackberry?

This is so unreal. SAR for Bold is 1.80 W/kg!! What is more interesting, US limit is 1.60 W/kg! How do they think they are going to sell it, beats me.. Is this model for Europe only, since the EU SAR limit is 2.0W/kg? Shall only we in Europe have the "privilege" to enjoy its "ray of lights"? People, enough is enough - this SAR is not for humans! Avoid this!

The blackberry emails are the most safest in the world it has encryption tech that is the highest in the world
Its instant messagin facility is one of the best
Its basically a business cum personal phone that is really very user friendly and practical

niko thanx for the help ... but isnt it that the iphone looks attractive it got good fonts well i am now into my business after my studies and i have heard blackberry is good for emails but isnt the iphone as good as for checking emails .. i just wanna know whts so great abt the blackberry and y should i go for it ? thats all i wanted to know and i hope i am not bothering u too much ... so niko i saw in the specs the blackberry doesnt have a world clock weird? or maybe we can install a 3rd party application as a world clock ? help me out niko sorry for bothering i just want a explanation y blackberry better than iphone?

Just got this product as my first Blackberry. Either I've received a dud or the battery life and performance features listed are all lies. My battery doesn't see out 12 hours with minimal device usage and it blocks sms sending but somehow allows ongoing receipt of messages. I'm baffled, and very disappointed.

Vishy, upgrading to a blackberry will be the best thing that ever happened to you. I've experienced the iphone edge AND the iphone 3g, and ever since i've upgraded to the bold, i've never even thought of going back to apple. ITS ALL ABOUT THE BERRY'S.

guys i have an iphone not the 3g but the normal iphone ... should i go ahead with buying the blackberry i got my own business and i dont know i feel the iphone icons are very attractive whereas the blackberry icons are not attractive ... i am just asking ok ? well like the world clock the fonts are crystal clear in iphone... i want to know is the blackberry good like attractive and useful for mails and i suppose blackberry comes without world clock .. somebody suggest me should i go ahead with buying the blackberry phone

I spent my entire ... moreolder blackberrys can handle more time, they were more simple, the screen not so bright, powerless processor, less multitasking... +battery life, even the older battery. but I suggest you to buy a second battery and have a high end phone.

I spent my entire day at phone, I receive aprox 40 mails in one day???
Maybe the answer is not BlackBerry, but please tell me a phone where the battery life holds me more than one day!!!

Bought the phone a week ago, I had iphone 3g before. This phone is awesome, and its true what they say. Once you go BLACK(berry) youll never go back.

I have to charge the device every night and bring the... moreI have this handset on Orange in the UK and have been very happy with the phone. The battery life has been more than fine for me with charges been made every other day at its worst.
Call quality is much better than my 8820, as is the screen, new menu and the speed of the device. The one problem I have had is with emails which is multiples of my sent items appearing on the phone which eats into my data bundle! I'm sure its something I can fix though.

Been using it for a month now. Great device. Very fast. Disappointingly, battery hardly lasts a day just on emails.
I wonder if RIM will make available a higher capacity battery...

Good news!!! Blackberry BOLD will be available in INDIA on WEDNESDAY 1st OCTOBER and the pricing is confirmed. Its Rs.34000 and AIRTEL is the service provider.
NO contracts. you can purchase the BOLD outright.

The Bold 9000 battery life is very poor. I have to charge the device every night and bring the charger with me to work as well. I cannot send ringtones from another handset to the Bold 9000. Other than that it is a great device.

as iam using blackberry Gold and its casing is very light and its get broken now i wanted to know from where i will order and new caseing

I think the device is perfect with all its features BUT it's hardware is quite vulnerable. I put it on my work desk from a 2 cm distance and the lcd screen is broken. Is this a faulty use? I am really curious about what others think? Any kind of similar experience?
