Seems like a great phone but, missing FM Radio is not good
If you ever been on site w w w . m y – d i v e r s i t y d e p o t i n c . c o m (I wrote address with spaces between letters because without spaces I can’t leave a comment, he tell me SPAM PROTECTION ), I want you to know that this man is a cheater! He represents with Patrick M. Peters! Of course, when you contact him he is “nice and friendly” person. But don’t believe on that like me! He works on this way: First you must send money to him, and than he send you a phone. But, after you send money you will see that all this is an lie! I send him money but he never sent me a phone! DON’T BELIEVE TO HIM!!!
His details for money transfer:

Last name: Depoe
Address: 524 Gateway Dr, Tampa, FL 33615.USA

…but I believe that he has more than these two details, who know!
I hope to help someone!

Alan W, 07 Sep 2008Will the BB Bold be able to put in Youtube application to do video streaming on it? My N95(8GB... moreThe phone will do you tube without the need for downloading any extra applications. I have had a play with the handset, and spoken with the Blackberry Rep - This looks like a fantastic phone. The user interface is awesome, they have upgraded the wheel mouse, and on Next G with Telstra the download speeds will be unmatched elsewhere.

Alan W, 07 Sep 2008Will the BB Bold be able to put in Youtube application to do video streaming on it? My N95(8GB... moreThe 9000 it's a different world compared to 8100 .
Wathc out , for 8100 are new 4.5 firmwares that ads new features to the pearl and imporves existing ones .
Check blackberry site / your carriers site for info .
It was suppose to be out in may and it is september and still not out...
I had this now for 2 weeks and so far it's a decent phone. The Roger's out-of-the-box OS sucks. It'll get better as new OS's come out. Battery life, if you use it much, is NOTHING close to the 210h standby/5 h talk time. But I think that's expected.
It looks good, feels good in my hand. And the GPS works well, as does the Wifi. It's just the crappy OS that needs to be fixed!
phones exactly the same as the 8800 and this means that it still has the same software issues. have had mine for around a week now and cannot get the phone to pick up any GPS signal and also crashes alot of the time
I used 8830 before.... and the bold just brings this phone to the next level..
3G is nothing but FAST!
Screen has a better resolution then the curve...
something which drove me up the wall before was that it does not do html email... now it does...
with full html browsing
also... if ur asian... on previous version... just reading CJK but now... inputing as well...
seamless switch between wifi and hsdpa just makes life a lot easier
3.5 mm jack.. way better then 8830...
something the iphone don't have and the bold has is JAVA!!!! imagine browsing with out JAVA...
Taking picture with 2.0 mp camera... with a gps positioning which will allow you to remember the exact position of the picture was from...
up to 8GB of storage...
word/excel/ppt reader if u pay.. u can even get editor
in fact... i was stuck without a laptop for a week... all i had was a bold...and it does what a laptop does... without being stuck to the laptop for ever... even if you are a laptop freak... this phone does tethering the 3g style...
this phone is very well done...
The blackberry bold started with so much promise, as soon as we received stock (carphone) i wanted it. The features are much better than previous bb's and the screen resolution is on a par with the iphone. I have had mine 10 days now and have had to exchange it twice because of faults. I am not the only one either. Its plagued with software and battery problems, the latter causing very strange problems with the volume buttons on the side. If you thinking of getting one, i would reccomend waiting a month or so to give RIM chance to sort out the flaws.
ok well i'm with rogers and its the 2nd bold i got in 2 weeks... and wow i love the phone but the reason for the second phone... MY TEXTS DONT SEND!!!!!!!!!!..... HOW THE HECK CAN I FIX IT BECAUSE ITLL BE THE 3RD BOLD ID GET IN 3 WEEKS!!!! PLEASE HELP... A RED CLOCK COMES UP NEAR MY TEXTS and thennnn i gotta take out my sim card and battery and replace it for it to work again just up until it doesnt feel like working!

yes you can use the windows live messenger... It comes already on the phone...
The Best Phone Ever! I got it last Friday with Movistar. I am from Venezuela and the phne is really here. This phone is much better than the curve, faster, friendly, etcI had an Iphone but this phone is much better. Its amazing, simple.... If you want more reviews I can help you... My best
Do you know if I can use Messenger of Hotmail in the Bold 9000 ?
I got to use this in my tech department, the screen quality is awesome. It has a good build quality, and a robust OS. The menu layout is easy and will be familiar to Blackberry users. Its been extremely popular, we sold out before I could buy one!
