Will the BB Bold be able to put in Youtube application to do video streaming on it? My N95(8GB)work and i would the new Bold will be able to do the same once i get mine, using the older 8100 Pearl right now.
none of you guys haved used this phone so why all the negitive reviews
Black berry 8320 is really a good one till now. I haven't experienced Bold till now but i guess touch screen would be some thing new after 8320!
In my opinion this phone is no different to my curve - in features - I am sure there are improvements but not enought to make me say "wow - want that!"

In regards to the BB Bold, a sales guy from Optus in Sydney just told me that the Optus network does not support having both the "BB push email" package at the same time as having the "non-BB web browsing" package. You can only choose one or the other.
Of course everyone will choose the "BB push email" option, but then you have to pay-as-you-go when not browsing the internet through the BB server (which has selected sites only).
He said this problem affects Vodafone too, but not Telstra, but who would go with Telstra with the prices they charge.
But then again, if your boss is paying, who cares?
I'm still waiting this BB in France. It sounds like very interesting with the 3G, with the new BB OS and no issues due to the OS as WM7. It's very interesting to make a response to Apple with the New Iphone. This BB is a new one, more easily to work, the menu is most beautiful, and it permits fun, work and all a smartphone do... What's more ...
BIG STEVE, 04 Sep 2008Sounds like you need to wait for the BB Thunder. Big Touch Screen version of Bold.hey steve, what thunder are you talking about? are you serious ? where did you hear about this thunder ?
The Bold is expected to keep RIM in the lead. I posted my take on it earlier:
http://www.mobilitynow.org/2008/09/05/blackberry-bold-keeps-rim-in-the-lead/
i have played with the thunder and i didnt think it was that good. it's touchscreen can be touched to highlight the option, but then when you want to click, you have to actually push in the screen which makes a click, the screen acts like a big push in button.
65k colours?? thats disappointing. This fone isn't even better than the n95 lol
Has anyone attempted to add a 16gb or 32gb MicroSD card into the Bold, if so did the phone accept it?
Hanset due before 12pm today (fri) with Vodafone UK £52 on 18m and £96 on 12m was my quote. BARGAIN!
does this phone have the same email capabilities as the iphone. by that i mean can i connect my google account to it, and will it update instantaneously? i like that feature on the iphone, but i want the bb.
Agreed... The Blackberry Thunder is going to be a spectacular phone.
Worth the wait :D
seVen_doLpHins, 04 Sep 2008no front camera heh? 3G phone with no front camera - not a very good option.. better not havin... moreHow many times do you use video calling? Is the fact it has no frount camera such a bad thing?
no front camera heh? 3G phone with no front camera - not a very good option.. better not having camera at all :(
I had seen this and frankly I m not impressed with design. I preferred curve over bold and place my first order for Black Berry device. Lets see how my experience goes by switching from Nokia to BlackBerry.
Bold will be available on Vodafone UK this Friday (05/09/08)
o2 are meant to be releasing the bold first week of October
