why the BB 9000 bold, regarding the gps it does not talk, when we driving we risk on colide...dont recieve data from other mobile devices... i m not happy with it...

Hi Guys, just a quick question.
How good is the BB Bold call quality against any Motorola phone with Crystal talk?
I know for emails RIM is the best. But I also need to use the Bold for phone calls, in very loud environments. I bought the Nokia N86, LG Arena, SE W995 in the last few months, but none of are on par with my old Motorola ZN5. Which cancel out most background noise.

I've had this phone for a couple of weeks now. I recommend it strongly to professionals who want exceptionaly easy mail set up, high security e-mail and great data compression for lower data cost, as well as a great keyboard. RIM is great in that aspect. Additionaly you'll get a very good multimedia machine as well. But for those of you who rather need a multimedia machine primarily, get the iPhone. I've had it for a year and I'm very pleased. I use my iPhone privately and my Berry primarily for work.

anon, 28 Aug 2009wouldnt recommend the N97, not next g and reviews havent been very good. the blackberry bold i... moreThis phone is far from excellent! A file download size limit of 3mb sucks. I m frequently getting msg: "file size too large...." when its only 4mb, 6mb pdf,jpeg, tiff etc. BB should at least allow us to download to SD card so we can open file on th pc later but I can't even do that! Very disappointed

When using the bb plan u surf d web faster wit no and d bold is used to its full capacity i.e emails and downloads included..wit dis emails come into ur fone wit an alert tone(just like sms).pretty cool.
But when using only gprs without bb plan,u can surf d web but emails are seen only when log on to ur individual mailbox domain...
Generally,wit or witout d bb plan,its stil a whole lot of fun using d bold..cos deres a whole lot more to dis device...

Thanks guys...i got ur point..i already made a deal for bb bold..n will be gettin that chick within 2 weeks...will be needing a lil support frm all u guys wen i get it coz i am zero with phones..also plz let me know abt the unlocking of the phone as it is the phone will be locked.

amyt, 27 Aug 2009hey mates...read all the reviews so far...but i doubt which phone to go for..confused between ... morewouldnt recommend the N97, not next g and reviews havent been very good. the blackberry bold is an excellent phone. i have one myself and i highly recommend it. More user friendly, more features and excellent deals available.

Amyt all I can say is don't even bother with the n97. The reviews were awful and its only getting worse, that was my 1st choice. It was between the htc pro the bb9000, but after reading the reviews theres no doubt which one i'm getting..
