One of the weakness of this Bold 9650 is the sound system. It has only one sided speaker. Not like it's oldest brother the Bold 9000 has 2 sided speakers which sound very good. It's older brother the Bold 9700 although only has one back/center speaker but the sounds are surround....

The trackpad for 9650 is not smooth has 9700. and if you look at the Bold™ 9000, Bold™ 9700 and Bold™ 9800 they have similar back cover(Both the camera and light)and the so called Bold™ 9650 has different things to call it a BOLD. I really need the black berry company to explain why the Bold™ 9650 has similar back cover with black berry tour. PLS!!!!!
Simple, the 9650 was the Tour2. But they changed it to Bold so that they could have the Bold series on a CDMA carrier.
The Torch 9800 isn't part of the Bold Series.

i have read on newspapers that there are some problems concerning blackberry cell phones in Dubai and Bahreen ,and they might stop using it there , iam not sure whether we r facing same problems here in Egypt and whether we r also going to stop using it in Egypt or what , i really need an answer to that.i have received an e mail about blackberry telling me that if i forward it to 8 people i will receive a free blackberry cell phone, and if i forward it to 20 persons i will receive 2 free blackberry cell phones , i am sceptic about that so has any one received an e mail as such and really received a free blackberry

hi everybody. I am using nokia 6275 on reliance network in india. And i always wanted to upgrade to blackberry. Initially i wanted to shift to tour 9630 but after reading the reviews i am relectant to go for 9630 due trackball issues. So i want to know when 9650 is coming to reliance india and can i use my cdma sim if i purchase it from open handset market.

i already have one and so far i think its a great gadget..eventhough the battery life is poor but with OS 6 or OS hybrid, that kind of problem im sure it'll reduce..
the result when taking picture with 9650 is better than 9700, i know coz my wife has 9700..
with bigger memory than 9700 u shouldnt worry if u want to install many application coz it still can run smoothly..

Are you just a starter on BlackBerry? The answer is the BlackBerry Bold 9650 is not a bad choice.

I owned a Bold 9700, but to me the best BlackBerry will be the coming Bold 9780. Those who want to buy Bold 9650, think twice. Just wait for the launching of the Bold OS6 9780, the "All Black BlackBerry"....
