I am in South Africa on MTN network.I am considering a bb but not sure if it can work for me. I travel internationally extensively but I dont know if the BIS works(at the same price) outside my home country and if the instant messenger service is still free then can anyone confirm or deny by experience please.

cunju, 31 Aug 2010what's the difference between bold 9650 and 9700?9650 has a hard plastic back, has a slightly bigger keyboard like the bold 9000. It also has both GSM / UMTS, and CDMA with 3G EV-DO (RevA).
The 9650 is only avialable on CDMA providers like Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular, MTS Allstream, and a few other international CDMA providers.
9650 also has double the internal storage, but slightly shorter battery life.
