I currently have a BB Bold 9000, is it worth upgrading to the new 9700?? I'm really confused, any opinions?
I was planning to buy one but I have some concerns regarding its disadvantages.
Guys, can you please tell me how it works?
I really don't know yet if I should get one.
Before, I was interested in Blackberry Curve 8900 but then after I saw this I changed my mind.
How does the optical track pad work?
Should I get one? Please help me guys! =)
I need your opinions if you don't mind. =)
NIKOLAS, 19 Mar 2010i downloaded some files...put them in.... how do i find them in my blackberry and run them...???????Where did you download them to? If they are apps go to Menu>options>advanced options>aplications. If they appear on there, then look for them in the Downloads or Applications folders in the main menu. If you downloaded pics/vids/music: go to Media>Menu>Explore and search your memory card or the phone's memory.

But I got tired of unstable FW with Nokia, useless feature phones from the rest and WinMo was to laggy for me. Blackberry has been really stable and reliable (except for 2 data outages, where my BB was useless). Facebook used to be able to work over wifi but they updated it to work only with BIS. Which, to me, is BS.
As for the data plan, I'm not too sure about that. In my country, Blackberry's only work with BIS/BES. They don't offer you the phone unless you get a Blackberry plan. I've read that some people have been able to use internet over an existing non-BB data plan, but I'm not 100% sure it'll work.

Sarah, 19 Mar 2010Can some tell that 9700 has the facility to send contact as text ??You would need to use an app called SMS Contact (free) to do this.
However it doesn't work with OS 5.0 or above yet, the developer is working with RIM to fix.
Just bought it yes....fantastic phone
How can I transfer contact from nokia music 5530 to Bold 9700 by bluetooth
The Blackberry 9700 is a great phone. very fast and all the features on it are the same as the bold 9000
