I have the Bold 9700 from T-Mobile. I bought the HTC Touch Pro 2 and sent it back within three days. I had the Wing years ago, and I though WinMo would have been improved by now, but I was dead wrong. I got the Bold instead and I haven't have a single complaint yet. 3G is way faster than the Touch, the applications are amazing (especially Facebook and Slacker), and the phone has excellent build quality for the materials it's made out of. I haven't had a BlackBerry since the Pearl 8100 in 2006, and boy they've gotten better. Coming from an iPhone 2G, I like what I'm seeing. :)
LCGC, 06 Jan 2010Having a BIS Plan, can I configure my 9700 to download attachments automatically?
Let's say I... moreAnyone that can answer the automatically download attachments to phone memory for me, please?! (posted yesterday, below in another post)
If I wasn't clear, maybe a quick test would be:
1. send a 300kb or bigger attachment to the account you check via BB
2. without checking the email in your phone, 10 to 20 minutes later (when for sure the e-mail should be received in the phone!), put the phone in airplane mode (or remove the SIM so you make sure you are not connected to the network)
3. check your email to see if the attachment is there or it is missing! (while NOT being connected to the network)
4. let me know if it was there or not!!
Any help would be highly appreciated!

I got my Blackberry Bold 9700 two weeks ago. With my curiosity on the phone, I pressed every keypad. One day I noticed that the icon of the Blackberry Messenger is not already in my Instant Messaging icon. Is anybody can help me restore my Blackberry Messenger.
Thanks a lot.
Does this phone have password protection for text messages/files or does it just have a general phone lock password on everything?
