The device is satisfactory ok, my only problem is that it doesn't always display ur caller's name saved in the contact. Pls how can the problem be solved so that I will be able to identify my caller b4 picking the call

They said its a hardware failure. Probably some IC problem :S Anyways this was totally unexpected being only 6 weeks after purchase!

Yes, GPS does function in 9780 and its quite outstanding.

Hi.. I've got an issue with my BB 9780. From this morning it has started rebooting continuously every 5 seconds for no reason. I tried to reload the device firmware which is again failure as the device is still rebooting. Can anybody help me please? I need a solution so that I can fix it myself rather than claiming warranty and taking another 1-2 weeks to get it back. I'm an Enterprise user and really require this gadget. Someone please help me out. Appreciate your support. Thanks

im using this device the battery very bad just less then 1 hrs and when i was charging he phone getting hot and i transfer my all data from 8520 and the devise s very slow

I have just received my bold 9780 a week a ago. I like the phone and the look and the feel. I have two issue with this handset. It does not have voice guide SAT nav like the 9700 and it consistently fails to to download.

Actually the thing that you and most people need to know is that blackberry is the service not the phone. Itsnot even the name of the company which is Research In Motion (RIM) (surprising that even the gsm arena guys dont know it - its like calling the company iphone instead of apple). The phone is just the medium to reach the service. So if there is no service, the phone is a dud. Usable but a dud nevertheless as the real facilities of the phone can be unlocked only with blackberry service.

Dear Sir, your all Blackberry Phones should be Dust proof. And also scratchless. And one thing more the color of the Case or Mobile Body & it's Keypad should not go in any case, it should look as we purchased recently over a period of time. Thankyou.
