Many of you guys are saying this phone is nothing more than slapping a better camera on the back. Well, your completly stupid if you think so. How bout you BUY the phone before you talk? I recently upgraded from a HTC and this bold kicks some serious ASS. In a nutshell, it's a bold with a shot of awesomesauce.

after so many discussion and brain storming finally i have purchased BB bold 3 today.
i am happy because i am using the black berry's high end phone, feeling proud also.
1 question : how to mark several contact for text msgs. today is 31st i want to send new yr wishes to my many friends..
pls say that in BB we cant mark many contacts and we have to slect one by one.

karen, 31 Dec 2010sorry to disturb ! may i knw BIS also can use at prepaid card or postpaid ?hi karen, if you are from india then yes you can subcribe to BIS on both postpaid and prepaid. other than reliance gsm every other operator is giving out BIS services under both postpaid and prepaid.

I`m interested too in buying a BlackBerry 9700\9780 and i know how important is to have BIS if you are using one, but i`ve read about some possibilities like: instead of using the original browser you can install Opera Mini which is very good as browser, for e-mails works very well Gmail app, Nimbuzz for Windows Live\Yahoo Messenger, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, GoogleTalk. Of course BB Maps work with BIS, BB Messenger, installing some apps from App World with BB browser via Wi-Fi needs BIS and the whole experience with a BB is better when having BIS but you can have more than a simple phone with these apps. What i know is they work with a generic data plan offering a decent experience if you can`t get BIS. Please correct me if i`am wrong and make some suggestions. Thanks!

If you are more into social and emails, get the BB.
The reason why i get the BB is because of the Keyboard. Its just cool. But BB has much slower web browsing. Browsing experience is a pain in the ass. For typing, BB and iphone would be similar fast.
