@bijay : are you live on jungle? BB can send file and recieved file from other via bluetooth... while at media just select option and select recieved via bluetooth....

If u want to transfer mucis or pic first open n pair the bluetooth then go to media n press the menu button choose receive with bluetooth..u can try it..I always do that..

On the bold 9780 can you listen to music (that you've downloaded) while texting, looking through photos etc; ?
Because i realized it doesnt have the play/pause./stop button like the curve so i dont know if it can do that.

Yes absolutely...
Its the biggest nonsense i have ever faced..
You can send files to other cellphone but cannot receive from them through bluetooth...
BB sucks on this...

on blckberry you need to go to the music or pictures
and click recive using bluetooth from the menu

BUT if you want to receive, you have to go to multimedia and pick an option of "receive using bluetooth" otherwise, the other device won't be able to connect to the bb.

Without a doubt the best phone I have had. OS6 is amazing (a few bugs in the initial version) but after updation very smooth. Nothing comes close to the 9780 ! well done RIM

[deleted post]i think the only difference is that the RAM are different, 9700 has 256MB RAM and 9780 has 512MB RAM. hope that helps :)

the bb bold 9780 is the bold 3 , its specs are better and it works on os6. Dont worry, u wouldn't not get a bb. Its got to be there.

I am too confused Should i go for blackberry bold 9780 or HTC Desire. My work has both leisure and Business too. For me emails are very important too. Also not to forget i love to listen to music and take pic. I travel a lot and i like my phone to me a multimedia ready so that it could help me to watch some videos too.
