hey guys can anyone tell me wht is the processor speed in bb bold 9700 and why the processor 624 mhz in bold 9780 should be at least 1 ghz cuz it the latest

The 9780 is exactly the same form factor of the 9700 except instead of a chrome bezel around it, its a black one. So yes, it has the leather on the battery cover. Should be out on T-mobile USA Nov 2. and Everyone should follow after. You should be able to get it b4 Xmas.

I would love RIM to come up with another Bold9000 form factor, fit it with a trackpad and at least 512mb RAM & 1500mAh battery. Doesn't matter to me if it's still using the crappy 624mhz proc. I think 9700's screen is just too narrow.

You will be able to download OS 6 onto a 9700. Its formated to the specs of the 9700. Its a little slower but works none the less.

"The One".
