i have loved blackberry ever since i bought this one a few months ago. But when iPhone 5 came out, I kept this one in my cabinet and started using the Apple product. 3 weeks of using my iPhone 5, I began longing for my blackberry. So as of the moment, I'm using my BB 9780 while my iPhone 5 is up in my cabinet, collecting dust. Haha! I love this phone.

Users pls stop making voluntory advert ƒor RIM except U are agent. Bold 9780 is a perfect device i will recomend to any BB lover to Use.Good battery life, Good 0S, fast internet {3G}, Camera is superb, name it. U can compare popularity øf BB phones and U will further convince that Bold 9780 is †ђξ best.

Sorry all bold users and also curve users the blackberry all u can agree is its cool bbm bbworld but deep;y im very very sorry to say its a bad phone mine is in for its 5th time for switching off by itself and when use camera off it goes again im collecting mine again so lets hope my mind will change but im loving nokia i have 2 Nokias and none stop so ja will upload again good luck bb

Have had a 9780 and loved it for a very long time. Great battery life, but my screen went. Wanting to update to the bold 9900, but scared on battery life. Would recommend the 9780 to anyone but Im looking at upgrading to 9900 anyone know if the battery issues have been addressed?

This phone is dissapointing bought mine brand new 6mnths down the line white screen sent it in bb sends me a refurbished one back not even my one i sent in anywaz worked for a couple of months and now same story white screen again so good job bb keep it up bb shud rather work on reliability instead of new designs

This is the best blackberry unit for me.. i tried bb bold 9790 and torch 9800.. battery life is a disaster..

Anon, 06 Nov 2012I have had mine for just over a year now, and it is currently sitting at home as I have not be... moreCheck if the screen is broken or just a WHITE screen problem. You can rectify the White screen problem yourself. You need to reload the OS. Download the OS from BB site and then disconnect the battery connect it to computer via USB and start reloading the OS. Midway you will have to repop the battery. There are number of articles online on how to do this. Search on NUKED BLACKBERRY and you will know what to do.

You can first try by re-loading the software. Check online there are many sites which give you the steps on how re-load the OS. If that doesnt work it should be they battery point problem.

My bold 9780 restarts again and again it being 7 days its reboots on its own and am really fed up with my bb its reboots mainly while am on a phone call am I mild user have inbuilt apps and whatsapp .. I did wiping for more than 5 times but still its the same .. It works properly only when I keep my bb on charging or usb .. Can any 1 help me what is the actual problem with my bb .. Is it with software battery or my carrier .. Please hellp experts in a big trouble .... :(

I have had mine for just over a year now, and it is currently sitting at home as I have not been able to use it for the last six days. this is because it is the second time the screen has broken. It has the "white screen of death" which is a common blakberry error, but I've asked around and many of many friends have never experienced this whilst this has happened to me twice.
Without insurance it costs £90 to repair which is only to fix a slight error but which prevents you from using the phone at all.
I'm now looking at getting another model of blackberry for the rest of my contract before I upgrade to an iphone, as this model is unreliable, with poor battery.
Statistically speraking, 1 in 3 of these models of blackberry is likely to experience this annoying error.

bold 9900 King !, 02 Nov 2012I had this device , its good and reasonable ! I only loved this device for the battery back... moredo u know how to use internet on BB9780 without taking BB services.

I had this device , its good and reasonable !
I only loved this device for the battery backup and the camera ONLY !
But when it comes to speed , its a total failure !
It lagged a lot and especially when using the browser !
It was really making me angry ! And I sold it right away !
And bought the 9900 which was the best BB I've ever used !
It has a decent battery (it depends on your usage) and a very pleasing performance !
Its truelly amazing !
Plz guys take my advice and don't buy the bold 9780 !
Buy the 9790 or the 9900 they are stunning devices :D

Its sad that it does not have WI-FI... moreInstall "Blacberry Desktop Software" on your laptop and you can use your Bold as a modem for internet connection.Alternatively,if you have wifi on your laptop,install "Bzeek" on it and you can use your laptop as a Wifi Hotspot.

Hi, I'm using this model currently. What can I say is, this is the best BB model i has been used so far. No laging, and very smooth with the internal memory, and also good quality of 5.0MP camera.
