I've had Blackberry for about three years now and I've been through three different phones. They are nice phones but the compatibility with some software sucks and it keeps freezing. Battery life on Blackberries after a while SUCK...you can't prevent this.

some friends let me know if 9780 have function called Wifi tethering or wifi hotspot? or any additional app needed.

hi i want to buy blackberry bold 9780 wants to know that can 1.bold 9780 be used as modem?
2.how much speed it get on 2g & 3g (as no speed like 3.6 or 7.2 is mentioned in specs) offer??
3.should i go for it or wait for another bb model running on QNX OS?

Dear Friends,
I've been using Blackberry from last 4 Months, i was using 9700 Bold-2 before now Bought a new 9780-Bold-3.
I also Tryed Upgrading the OS-6.0, in 9700 but after Switching on 9780-Bold-3, Damn!
I'm Enjoying it alot, The Originality in the Firmware and its move of Trackpad, and the Stability.
you dont find it in 9700.
Though both are almost same, the Graphics VDO and Firmness.
is outstanding in 9780.
One Should buy 9780-Bold-3, for Sure.
Go.Go.Go....

i have bought blackberry bold 9780 a month ago, and i found that the software on my mobile is not fast as i was expecting,many times while browsing the internet a message appear to me that the browser will close because the page is too large,and then it closed,also the track-pad sometimes becomes so slow while moving the arrow, i had before the bb9700 and i did'nt find these issues in it, my software is the version 6.0.0.546, is there new updates for these software?

gentle, 02 Oct 2011Whenever am downloading it is showing me connection failed,what will I do to start dowmloading... moreHello, I've same problems before, my bold 9780 giving varios error, i.e download failed, java lang exception error, can not start application due to many app loaded, etc.. am so confused before and can not find any solutions for those error. But i tried wiping my bold and now it solved. Though with wiping ur device ur data will be lost, but with option which data u'd like to wipe (application,email/contact,media card),and u may backup ur files before wiping the device. As for me, am wiping the downloaded application only. Wiping is easy, just go to Option menu -> Security ->Security Wipe -> Select data for wiping -> done. (It may takes several hours for completely done). Hope this option helps u fix ur issue :)
