I too have a BB bold 9780 and now HTC Desire S. In fact after using BB for more than an year, I got bored with it and decided to experience some color and glamor. I dont play games / listen to music on mobiles. Now after started using Desire S for 4 days (i made it my default mobile and kept BB at home) I realized what an excellent piece of technology BB is. In day to day use, Desire S cant beat my BB in practicality, speed in accessing most of the features, hand grip, and battery life. Though the OS looks dated and dull, it consumes less battery and puts less strain on processor. I agree Android is a good piece of technology but mobile has to use its battery to access net to get mails, social network messages and other net based services. here most of them get pushed to your BB and battery drain much less. So I'm promptly back to my BB as default mobile. My advice to anybody getting bored of their BB is - dont fall for attraction of other phones, but if u do fall like me, dont ditch your BB and keep both or u will repent

I have BB Bold 9700 with OS 6, also I have HD2 with WM6.5, WP7 and/or Android. And for me the best OS for every day use is RIM/BB OS.
If you like reliable OS be sure that BB is for you. If you like multimedia, gaming or a lot of free apps get Android or WP7.
I don't have iPhone so I can say anything for it from my experience.

Great smartphone and doing all for me.Good fluid video and nice photos.The twitter interface works better and faster than laptop twitter.Everlasting battery.I will give it 9/10.

BB User, 14 Apr 2011I had a BB 9700 and it is a Pearl color, it looks very nice ant not girly as i first thought.
The only prob now is that I need to buy another cover, since the black otterbox looks fugly with the white BB. :)
