BlackBerry Bold 9790 leaks again through tutorial videos

RIM BlackBerry Touch UI QWERTY

A couple of months after it was first spotted, the BlackBerry Bold 9790 is again peeking from under RIMs covers. Also known as the Bellagio, the Bold 9790 is similar to the Bold Touch 9900, with a touchscreen display, 8GB internal memory and running the new BlackBerry OS 7. Which begs the question, why RIM would want to release two similar phones?

Anyway, there is no official word about the phone yet and for now all we have are these three tutorial videos showing off the multi-touch functionality of the display, the keys on the sides and a view of what’s under the battery cover.

For all we know, RIM canned this phone in favor of the Bold Touch 9900. Then again RIM did say they were planning to launch a lot more phones in the coming phones. Perhaps they forgot to mention they were going to be mostly similar.
