mine, use less then 1 year.. internal memory corupted.. nuked it already, useless... i cant use it anymore.. need to submit it for warranty at brightstar...
I tried lots of BlackBerry Mobiles but the most rubbish one I had is this crap 9900 as it hangs a lot, has a shyte battery, crashes the software now and then, and started having serious problems in my second day of purchase, loosing the light on keyboard, very low brightness level, disappears the image and light of the screen completely, lose functionality of all buttons or most buttons from time to time, all in all 1/10 scores gets this crap blackberry from me as Different mobile professional.
Its the easiest mobile to dissemble in less than 10 mins and very easy to put everything back together without scratching anything in both options.

then downgrade the software from version 10 to 7 and it may solve the problem but try to use some fast internet connection as it may take sometimes downloading and installing the downgrade to make it work. I have tried it before on some mobiles and it did work and solved the problem.
This phone lacks the toughness of RIM devices. Mine fell once and that's all. Even though the screen is still intact, the four keys that are so crucial for the phone's function now will no longer work. I am very disappointed.
I have been using 9900 about 2 years and never has any problem.
I love the push email, no smartphone can be compared with Blackberry on those side.
Documents, office , etc everything works as it is.

meee, 20 Sep 2013Which do I buy, blackberry 9900 or an android(preferably samsung) with budget of 50 thousand n... moreNaira means you're in Nigeria brother. You have to understand that operators here are not that android friendly; for a N1000 you'll get 3gig on any bb running os 7.1 and previous versions. Bb10s excluded for now. For the same N1000 on an android, windows etc you'll get a meagre 100mb or 260mb from the very generous operators. This is due to the very advanced data compression system of RIM. They comply very well with the country's fair user policy (FUP). In other words, a well detailed graphical page can load for just 1mb on a blackberry, whilst on a samsung, htc, iphone (that I know of) can take up to 30mb for the same page. If you're into a lot of downloads, blackberry is your best legal option.
Please do all 9900 come with "AZERTY" instead of "QWERTY" keyboard? I just got mine yesterday, didn't even notice until I tried typing at home. Is this a defect or legit company production type? I'm thinking of sending it back, anyone with the same key format?
