Ciprian, 25 Mar 2013Can you advise on what type of BB9900 battery to buy?I bought the exact same type as the original battery.
I have had it for nearly 2 years now.it's a great phone, although I hv to buy another extra battery, but I think all phone need that extra when the users are using the phones a lot everyday. I love this phone so much
This is an amazing phone by all standards. After I got this phone I was having battery problems until my nerd brother got a hybrid os running on it for me. It has since been my best phone ever. It has a fast download speed and I get to have the best that comes with any blackberry. 9900 rocks!!!
jihaan, 21 Mar 2013please , um about to buy a blackberry , and the reviews are seriously unsupportable , i truly ... moreI got a bold touch. Had problems from the get. Freezes up shuts off and had to get it replaced when it froze up on me and wouldn't reboot. Oh ya the enamel on the touch pad started flaking of and now I'm have charging problem. It won't recognize the charger I been usin for the last 6 months
3 years of Bold 9900, and it sucks, this phone, as all blackberry phone (i don't know if it will change with the Z series) is a nightmare, restarts intermittently on its own, battery sudden drains, applications freez, stay away from it ... iPhone didn't do it for me, the only reason am keeping it is the keyboard, otherwise, trash bin
Anonymous, 21 Mar 2013How is this for opening up attachments (Adobe, Microsoft docs etc.)this is a good phone my friend, however only the battery does not last long, otherwise a perfect business phone. it opens all pdf, ms office docs easily, go ahead if your need the business features, but if you want more multimedia functions then don't.
please , um about to buy a blackberry , and the reviews are seriously unsupportable , i truly cant decide if i should buy it or not , please give me more informations about it (who used it please ) ??

Do you have any news for software version v184.108.40.2061 (All Languages)regarding battery life? Thanks.
gujji, 20 Mar 2013I wana like blackberry 9900 but i juat got to knw that it has a battery problem. Can you sugge... moreSee, like every phone that has great graphics in it and needs to be touched to believe it all of them have battery issues. Honestly the 1270mAh battery on the 9810 Vs the 1230mAh battery that's on the 9900 doesn't make much of a difference, honestly think about it how much battery life can extra 40mAh offer? Not much additional 5mins if your using the touch screen constantly and 15mins if your only using the trackpad.
Yeah Battery issues are there like some have claimed but, all the new OS' that were launched from Android, WM, BB Liquid Graphics, Ubuntu etc... all these mobile OS devices had some bugs or issues on battery and they all were fixed with an OS update. So, don't worry! But understand you need before you buy a BB device many first timers who buy a BB after owning a Samsung S2 or older android devices have b*tched about the BB being a bad phone etc..,
What do you hate abt an Android that you'd want to buy a BB device, also note that BB devices are not known for their kick-ass applications like you get on WM or Android or even Symbian for that matter. Think about it! Then make your move if your satisfied after doing the checks & balances of your needs what you'd expect the new phone to be and not perceive it 2b something else after you've purchased it.
The 9900 & 9810 both don't come document editors, you have buy em from the market place. NFC (Good cuz most BB bluetooth don't work for file transfers with other devices.) Small screen on 9900 (2.8" on 9900) means you have to use the screen to pinch to zoom a lot most of the time that relates to faster battery consumption even after updating the OS, 9810 bit larger screen when compared to 9900 not an eye opener would still struggle, you'd still have to use pinch to zoom but very less in comparison when you do it on a 9900. No nfc (bbm & whatsApp compensates for that.)
Sushi Majesty, 10 Mar 2013Hi Gany! Please understand your need for a smartphone with the kind of job profile you have? I... moreI wana like blackberry 9900 but i juat got to knw that it has a battery problem. Can you suggest should i go for it?. Coz right now m using samsung S2.
