Just bought it last tuesday.. But feels thousand of regret buying this bold touch.. Freeze a lot.. Lagging.. Even previously I've been using torch 2 is much more better.. Based from my predict torch 2 is much smoother.. 15% less hang then this bold.. One more thing.. I've got excellent experience browsing internet on torch 2 which is more fast actually than bold 9900.. Both are lagging but bold 9900 are much disaster..
sukhi, 19 Jan 2013would it be possible to upgrade 9900's 7 OS to blackberry10 OS ?Nope, BB10 is new operating system which is not based on Java anymore ...
Ive had my 9900 for a year now, the 1st handset lasted about one week, the second was one day and when it was replaced I didnt bother with it as my 9700 worked perfectly. Screen freezes, calls have been ignored and caller waiting doesn't work, O2 just want to send it away to repair so 5 months on contract and I will never use Blackberry or O2 again.
hai... i am looking for a gud phone for a hard use... i mean little texting and all.. so that i need a qwerty keyboard phone with most of the good specifications... so whats ur openion about taking this piece? please help me..
This Phone is awesome. Why did not has Endurance rating? I hope that is on the road. Thanks!
will anybody tell me that skype is working in this phone or not....also viber and watsapp ????? plz do reply me thank you
would be an excellent device if it had a larger battery, the small 1230mAh battery limits the capabilities of this phone as the user is constantly trying to balance performance with battery life.
I had this phone for about 3 months. Conclusion: great design, excellent keyboard, but HORRIBLE software.
My 1st 9900 was replaced after a month of use - it just bricked itself and couldn't be fixed.
My 2nd shuts off randomly when bellow 50% battery, not to mention that the battery life, even with all the tricks and tips of how to safe, is very short. Tried everything to fix it, I am returning it for warranty, AGAIN.
Not to mention, updating and syncing is pathetic as well - updates freeze, syncing freezes, you have to reconnect your USB for the phone software to recognize the phone (nothing wrong with hardware - it recognizes the phone instantly).
Conclusion: don't buy this phone unless you are willing to risk having so many issues the software has. I bought this phone for the great keyboard, but the software aspect makes this phone not worth it.
Got the 9900, its a powerful phone and I haven't had any problem with it. Nice software and I must encourage u to buy it. :)
Peeps!! Av bin using dis fone for d past 9 months nd havnt had any problems with it, cept for d freezing which occurs very. Rarely nd when it does occur, its brief. Mine hs bin superb in all ramifications. Arguably d best bb around!!
Can I know the price of bb 9900 in UAE??? Plz..
N can u suggest weather I should buy it or not as I never bought bb before
Anybody knows how to fix my BB9900 (bought in China, made by Hungary and use in Phnom Penh, Cambodia )to detect 3G properly as when I tick 2G & 3G in network option, it will show SOS, but when I only selected 2G, it will work properly. Currently, no issue with other blackberry phone to connect 3G and even other BB9900 under AT&T still work properly. I now can not use the phone in 3G as it's important to have 3G detect cuz of faster data send & receive.
Pls help if other user has faced the same issue. I have just updated its IOS to the latest one but still not help.
this phone is making sense..... the camera, sound, browser is just wonderful. i recommend it for you.
I just bought a blackberry 9900 and I am very satisfied to wear than the other blackberry I recommend to use this type because it is the best type issued blackberry
