Think about it carefully...They probably have the phone switched on without a sim and literally on standby with no signal / bluetooth etc etc and under the optimal conditions it is possible to have this so called 300hrs etc on standby...yes, it doesn't help the users as such what we expect but IF you say 30% of the battery....it still should give you a reasonable standby time.
london jay, 07 Feb 2012blackberry bold 9900 all the way for me but thats my opinion. This is LBM security you are being monitored.
You will be addressed shortly.
According to to the Specs battery standby is 307 hours. Mine lasts about 60 hours. I use BBM about 4X a day and receive about 6 SMS's a day. My BB 8520 battery lasted about 6 days.

Do ... more9900 by far! 9900 has half touch screen half keypad. 1.2 ghz processor compared to 624mhz. 8gb internal vs 256mb....16m colour vs 65k.....and internet browsing is far more superior! However, battery isn't as great as the 9780 BUT something has to compensate! Hope this helps! Your almost comparing a Porsche 911 GT3 to a BMW 320SE! lol
i got the blackberry bold 9900 this morning and i have to say so far so good apart from its really hard to take the back case off to put the sim and battery in i had to use a knife to prize it off and i was scared of damaging the phone itself ive not charged the phone since 9am this morning in the uk and its now 1pm just took it out of the box and strated using it thats 4 hours of getting used to the phone with only 2 bar battery life i have to say thats pretty good going ive not put the phone down yet fantastic phone so far!!!!
Battery life sucks, should allow users to exchange, cant be charging phone all day and night. DO something about the battery and there shouldnt be any expense to have the battery changed once blackberry has fixed this problem.
I am about to purchase a BB, I need your honest feedback on what will the best option be. Do I take the 9780 or 9900? And why the selection that you say from your experience?
this phone is good.it has touch screen but the camera is bad.no auto focus and the battery is low and cannot last for a day.can i get a bigger battery into the blackberry for example 1500 battery
I noticed when you insert a memory card the LCD will flicker. Does anyone noticed that behavior? or just me?
3 of my friends and I have this cell-phone. This cell phone is GREAT. I use it as a secondary phone though and when it comes to sheer reliability, I would choose this thing blindfolded. I like android and the Nexus etcetera but trust me guys, when you need to text, call show-off, get serious or anything like that, Blackberry is what you need.
Got a new Bold 9900 (White) a week ago.. Won't say that its worth the price that you pay.. But its surely a good phone.. The keyboard is very comfortable.. Touch is qyt responsive.. The only problem is with the battery.. I have heard RIM is comin out with a new OS update 7.1 and it should solve this issue.. People who have used the leaked unofficial 7.1 are qyt happy with the results.. But except the battery life its an awesome phone.. One of the finest blackberry phones I have ever used..:)

I have tried the options you gave and it's still not working. I realised the Host Routing Table shows "no entries" even when i have done "register now" and rebooted. I put my SIM in another BB phone and the BB service was working excellently and and the Host Routing Table on that phone had some entries there. So, clearly the problem is with my phone. What could be the problem with my phone and how do i solve it?
please tell me how many applications does black berry os 7 have? thank you
