Hello. I have been a user of BB for a long time before i got samsung galaxy S4, and now i am going back to the Blackberry classic (because of the physical keyboard). When i was reading the comments, i was wondering if the browser is ok (fast enough)? And if the Facebook app is ok (this is the only social media i use)? Thank you for the answers :)
Lexus888, 13 Nov 2015Bought this one. Trust me its a perfect device with a excellent battery life. How long does your battery last
Lexus888, 27 Nov 2015Facebook in blackberry phones are slow and gets posts delayed. Even mine. Thanks for the feedback. Guess I'll just have to live with the delay. Perhaps BB will address the issue in the near future. Merry Christmas!
Wish the Classic had Android OS like the Priv. Anyways, am glad to have a Classic (my third BB). Nothing compares to a physical keyboard and for those who don't have the time or the inclination to try out the "more-than-I-can-use-in-my-lifetime" apps; this is a perfectly good phone.
I have a question for someone.... I noticed on my Classic that Facebook would not update very often. For example, when I would open the FB app, it would only show a few posts from the past couple of hours, as opposed to posting up-to-the-minute posts/updates, as the FB app does on my iPhone. Can someone help me with this?
makii3, 24 Nov 2015Does the blackberry classic have the same issue with internet/mail like the Curve 9360 running... moreHey bud, actually the Classic or any BB10 device runs without the Blackberry Line you had in the older OS BB7 and below. You can use wifi or cellular connectivity. Email works flawlessly, as well as browser, BBM, and podcasts too, over wifi or cell. No additional BB services needed. I had the BB Torch 9100 and I remember Podcasts, browser, email, BBM, and BB App World would not work without the BB Service line haha. I had to use Opera Mini
Stony, 14 Nov 2015How many speakers does the blacberry classic have? I can see 2 but only 1 is working. Other 1 is microphone
Does the blackberry classic have the same issue with internet/mail like the Curve 9360 running BB OS 7.0? The internet on Curve 9360 would work spuriously without the BBIS/wifi only. Opera Mini, Viber, podcasts does not work without the BBIS. I wonder if these new models with BB OS 10.0 have same issues, or would work flawlessly on wifi only like the androids.
Your comments will be highly appreciated.

Yes, whatsapp will function on BlackBerry Classic.
Yes, BlackBerry Classic can operate with regular APN Internet data plan. You don't have to pay for APN BlackBerry aka BIS or BES.
Any body can confirm , whether whatsapp is working in blackberry q20. Sim base Internet "package data" is comfortable with this phone.
Please confirm I want to purchase this phone.
Just in case newbies like me want to get Android Playstore on BB 10 device,
I restarted device afterwards just to make sure all is fully installed. Be patient with installing but remember you only install these apps once then your up and running,,no different to new Android phone where it takes couple hours to set up from new.
Glad to have a button phone again, got this off mate he is getting Priv. It took 32 minutes to security wipe back to factory settings which is some massive security wipe but it is a BlackBerry after all.
Just learning about these 3 APK's to download so Playstore is available, I remember doing this earlier this year with a Q10. Feels so good pressing real buttons again. The Priv misses out the send/end keys which I want. He was using a 128gb card so know it works fine. Must test more over weekend for cam/video/microphone/audio quality etc.
I feel so proud to own this phone I love it.I have My 9900 Back and even MORE. I've Been using The Blackberry Classic for 3 months Now.All smiles.
