Indian market obsessed with dual-sim phones. But even without dual-sim this phone has the ability to bring blackberry back into the game in India provided with a competitive price around 20 - 25k. There are lot of indian consumers looking for a good phone with physical keyboard. But there is a void in this segment.
Hope this will fill the void.
i fully agree with mingkly's opinion on 15.11 2014. BB thinks asian consumers are just fools....
I think BlackBerry classic will not be the charm, as per the specs the price is too high for such a phone. Anyway BlackBerry never offers dual sim which is a drawback. For these specs anyone will love to choose z10 or q5 or any pretty good android, even iphone 5s.
BB is very nice mobile, for Q20 i am waiting for dimensions,
i hope that to posible using with one hand like q10.
I have used and loved BB's for the last 8 years. Have been waiting all year for the Classic. Now I learn that it will not be offered on Verizon Network. I give up. Buying an Iphone. Cannot wait any longer. I'm very disappointed with BB.

am waiting for its arrival hope it will do all i need from a mobile phone
Blackberry is not listening to users.. where's dual sim options.. there is no mid-level dual sim qwerty phone.. they can control 100% of the market...
Has this phone UMTS 900 MHz in European version? I need this frequency band, because I use free Internet access Aero2 in Poland.
I think old blackberry user may buy this. But it is difficult to attract new user because of highly price.
Don, 14 Nov 2014Will this have 1800LTE such as for Australia? No, it only has 2600 for Asia and Europe.
Looks like they may release another version.
449$ its to expensive for this phone. Price the phone to the same: Q10, classic, Q5. this phone dont have nothing much , no even gorilaglass pff. just old fans like me going to buy it. but for that price anunce i will not gone buy.
I started using BB in 2009 (right when it was going downhill) but loved it madly..
BB just makes you feel you're in a compact comfort zone..
Used Android after BB.. loved that too.. but I always crave for a BB phone.. I wanted to get Q10 but it didnt have the scroller and home button grid..
Been madly waiting for BB classic.. but its kinda pricey if you ask me.. it needs to be half its price!
I want this. I had a BB 8520 once and since then I have used apple, htc, sony, samsung and Moto, but non of them was as rewarding as the old BB. Welcome back.
Vox, 14 Nov 2014Agree, if people want high camera specs buy a professional camera if want to play games use al... moreVery poor argument, you use the camera you have with you, ie the phone, your Sony mirrorless is of no use when it stays at home 99% of the time, even a RX100 is not something most people would carry IN ADDITION to a smartphone.
About the post you replied to, a PS4, wut!?! Fisrt of all the good games are on Xbox and in any case you cannot bring either to play whereever you may be. As a BB10 user i find the game selection inadequate even if im sideloading android apps, too many of them simply does not work or is not available as APK downloads. A real camera and gaming consoles are both good things but not anything you can carry with you all the time.
