Nas, 19 Aug 2014Can i install android OS on blackberry classic Nah..Hardware is not compatible. But why do you want to install android on anything?
I use a Q10 and a Z10 and since they runs on 10.1 and the classic runs on that too, I won't anticipate much difference. I would try it out tho but how long do I have to wait for 10.2. The Fm radio would be an added advantage too.
Chen: Interesting figures and comment from "psycros" (2014-08-07) on the Opinions pages here -- including "if ... cut BB's legendary waste and salary padding by half, they could easily be making $ ..." Wow!
Nas, 19 Aug 2014Can i install android OS on blackberry classic Why would you even want to do so? I am shocked... :o

Laxmikant , 13 Aug 2014Please incude FM radio at least. And Dula sim is mandatory Mr Chen: Here, here! A radio is mandatory in the upcoming Blackberry Classic -- in order for the phone to be complete, versatile and powerful. All users, particularly business, social, personal users need access to news, talk and music provided by a radio. By the way, superior cell phones also use the camera "flashbulb" (?) as a flashlight.
please put AUTOFOCUS in camera at make it at least 8mp. the rest specs seems to be perfect. let the physical BB key rules the bb device again.
T T Joseph, 03 Aug 2014add fm radio, removable battery and dual sim ,then release in india......As an Indian and a long time BB guy (9 years), I can totally confirm that. Although I'd hate my BB to have FM and dual SIM, if they do that India will play a crucial part for BB.
Remesh, 05 Aug 2014OK. In your opinion, what should be the asking price of a Classic?$295
teo, 07 Aug 2014Keep the SAR value low, improve the battery duration, no freezing software, robust buildt,... ... moreAmen to that.
Plus add a good camera. Even professionals has to take a photo or two from the dark meeting rooms. At present not of the BlackBerry 10 handsets can handle low light photography well.
psycros, 07 Aug 2014I would say $349 off contract, tops. I'm serious - Blackberry needs to be totally aggressive ... moreI see your point here. If you look at the success stories of Nokia, Samsung and Even some chinese brands they are all one thing in common. They initially flooded the market with low range and mid range phones. That means they build the brand visibility slowly and then raised the features and of course price slowly. BlackBerry went the other way. Though they have some special features to sell to enterprise who could afford to pay the kind of asking price , that image distanced the consumer. Now very few companies can survive without selling their product to teh consumer. BlackBerry has to make their products available across major price ranges.
How much Chen can do on this, I cannot say.
