i think u r not working with in any corrporate sector so u r unable to understand this move of BB
I've been using my 8800, old i know but solid as a brick and you can carry it where a camera is not allowed, and now i can get a 10 os phone , a great idea from BB.
Anonymous, 09 Mar 2015this is for people with real jobs which don't allow camera phone on hot zone. Absolutely right, I am a corporate person that is why I know about it very well.
That's a bad move by Blackberry, who on this day and age buy a premium handset without a camera? It's exactly the similar decision about BBM before WhatsApp take over IM segment chating.
Rest assured sales are gonna be very poor, that's if it will actually sell. I wonder what is Blackberry objective on this one?
Nice job Blackberry. But please do make this phone available in Indian market. There are many companies here which does not allow us to carry camera phone. Little check on Price also required :)
blackberry has done some great job !
there are 2 type, with and without camera. the camera-less version is very useful for some people who need to bring their phone into some restricted place (e.g. school, lab, library, some company etc)
the only dissapointed thing is its price. why is it so expensive, there is almost no different price between this and the camera version. how much does it cost to buy a lens for phone-camera? is it that cheap?
well, if blackberry put this device to lower price, I'm sure there will be less complains
next phone "BlackBerry Classic Paranoic" with mechanical switch speaker and microphone))))
This is good step by bb.. Targeting specific audiences who badly need a smart phone without camera.. Way to go bb.. Please reconsider the price....
Kind of odd. This BB Classic with no camera is 1 gram heavier than BB Classic with primary and secondary camera :-) Also considering the batt capacity.
AnonD-30846, 27 Feb 2015What the advantage of a mobile without camera ?? By the way.....First Comment EverThose of us with real jobs aren't allowed to bring a camera phone to work. Blackberry is targeting that market.
epiccommenter, 27 Feb 2015shame on you blackberry who will buy a phone without a camera we need cameras in nowdays also... moreLike they don't offer cameras in their other phones?! why "sham on them"?! they are offering an option for people who need it, and that's a good thing.
biomako, 27 Feb 2015Too bad.is blackberry running out design ideas?no, they're doing what many people want, a phone without a camera for places that don't allow camera phones.
It'll be great for me cuz me and all the students in my school does not allowed to bring phone with camera to the school.
At last, something without a camera. the sooner this becomes available the better. I need one asap.
