Pegasus, 22 Oct 2010Can someone tell me what he thinks of this phone.. -Fully tested pls-waste of time it totally sucks, its no different from the 8520/8530 with the inclusion of 3g it performs the same way only more memory it doesn't even have flash. the old 8320/8230 had flash. it probably loads web pages a little faster but other than not worth the upgrade if u were using 8530 my opinion is just get a bold 2 (currently using)and end the nightmare your having with that just spend a couple more bucks it might be more expensive but it'll probably be better (im an all rounder phone user btw) good luck .

What is the Advantage of 3MP camera for 9700 to this Curve 3G 9300?maybe it won't be effective enough been 2 MP to the 3MP ...please can someone explain to me?

most of the blackberry phones included 3G facility but there is no secondery camera,how cheap! blackberry must include that camera.am a nokia E71 user bt now there is no nokia product like E71 so i'm thinking of buying a blackberry bt now I changed my mind & will stay in E71 until find a product like E71

what about video camera is it good ? Well with a 2 MP camera it has a standard lowrate picture.. against the 3.2 MP camera of the bold version.

Juz, 16 Oct 2010They aren't exactly the same. The 9300 looks a lot better with the metal frame around the side... moreWell on Mtn they're only R30 different per month. So R660 different over the entire 2 year contract, which isnt much more for the better phone considering Bis alone is R720 per year.

not that the differernce is th efeatures.... such as yhr 8520 curve did not have 3g network and the 9300 curve has 3g network and has more features than the 8520 curve peepz.

One thing I've noticed is that the phone comes with OS 5 but u guys say it can be upgraded to OS 6? HOW??? It doesnt pick up any upgrades when I scan for them from the phone and the blackberry website only talks about OS 6 on the torch? Anyone know where I can download it from?

justice, 15 Oct 20109300 and 8520 is a same phone is just numbers which are differentThey aren't exactly the same. The 9300 looks a lot better with the metal frame around the sides and it has 3G and GPS which do make a difference because it takes forever to go through pictures on facebook and to download apps in the app world on EDGE. I just don't get why in South Africa the difference is price between the 8520 and 9300 is R2500 but in America the difference is R400?

Thanks guys! After a long back and forth conversation between Tmobile and Blackberry in America I got the unlock code! U have to fax ur receipt to T Mobile with some reference numbers they give u and they email the unlock code back. They said it would take 7 days but it took less than 2 hours before I got the email! Very impressed!!! I love the curve 3G! SO COOL!!
