BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 - user opinions and reviews

just got bb9300, first bb, so far so good, but have a question. My call waiting is not working properly, called my service provider they say it's activated, told me to check under "options" call waiting should say "yes". there is no such thing under options. I've tried to find it no luck.
Can anyone tell me how to set up or check on my call waiting?pls pls

you can turn off the 3G of the 9300...for longer battery life...the wifi and internet is great...this is a powerful phone...no problem at all
