Yes, I've had this work of art of a phone for about 2 months now and I am just absolutely delighted with it. Apary from being stunningly fabulous (always turning the women's eye when I flash it in the disco bar) it has lots of high tech functions which I need in my line of work. Whenever I need it, it has been great friend to me and I cry so good. I have listened to all my music on it with delight. Buy it if you want a phone that will get you looks of attention which I think we all do.
I purchased a blackberry in new york and it worked for about a week here in AUS it has since locked up and only showes the salt shaker. It would apear that unless you buy from a local supplier the warrinty and service is nil nil so watch out if you travel with one of theis phones as nobody will help.Telstra are the worst and very rude.

Blackberries, are, by and large, very solid devices backed by an extremely solid, stable operating system. They do not "need" software upgrades/updates unless your carries specifies this. I've used numerous RIM devices over the years and never have I once "had" to update software on any of them. If you take care of them like any other device, you're in for a treat as they're excellent phones and email/web-browsing devices.
