alirobs, 03 Jul 2008i want to know if blackberry curve 8310 can video record and if so can someone tell me how.
... more"No" on the record video.
BTW blackberry maps on the device are a waste of space but just use google maps instead :-)
I have the Blackberry Curve and i Love it!
its a great phone...
especially when it comes to the data recovery, its great.
just plug it into your computer and ALL your settings and content is restored.
Including messages, backgrounds, music, games etc....its great. =]
This is the best phone i ever had...in case you want to know if to buy it...Go right ahead! Kudos to BlackBerry!!!
The Curve is a well made and uses the peppy Blackberry OS (unlike the bloated Windows OS. Especially when the phone is underpowered). The only REAL complaint I have is not of Blackberry but AT&T. It is the WORST service (in LA area, Ca. USA) I have ever had. Our company has about 10 of these phones. I would have a more reliable call by using paper cups and string. It's that bad (for us). I always have a good laugh when their commercial comes on... More bars? Not in the Long Beach, Orange County area... Moving to Verizon. But good service is always a moving target?

okay, so i have a blackberry curve too. i think theyre great. for a texting fone, it has been the best ive ever have. unlike some other qwerty keyboards; the blackberry is great for texting, email, and other functions. the camera is great also. in my opinion, i personally dont like the palm centro. although its a touch screen, the buttons are too small and its almost impossible to text fast without pressing other buttons. The blackberry, however is a buisness fone but i got mines cheaper than the regular price. so i would suggest you to get the blackberry instead of the palm centro

Calvin, 23 Jun 2008Hi,
Im trying to decide between the Blackberry Curve or the Palm Centro. I mostly use my pho... moreno use of blackberry for taking pictures although texting is good on QWERTY keyboard.
However, in texting, you will not be able to add smileys, animations etc. to your messages, which would be available in a standard multimedia phone. what's more, you cannot attach any other file other than an image file in an email.
NO USE OF BLACKBERRY MERELY FOR TEXTING & IMAGING
Calvin, 23 Jun 2008Hi, Im trying to decide between the Blackberry Curve or the Palm Centro. I mostly use my pho... morewhy would you spend so much money on a phone if you mostly only need the basic functions of any other phone on the market?
Absolutely Fantastic device for someone on the move. Emails direct into your portable device. Great for you Facebookers out there as well. Instant chat is great too. More customisation features would be better but still a great phone.
drawbacks of this phone
1) no video recording provided
2) no sound recording provided
3) no ms office support till date
4) no java application support
5) bluetooth is cumbersome in receiving files. cannot select multiple files for sending. asks confirmation for every incoming file from the same source even if paired.
6) no value for money at all.
7) no use of buying this phone unless you have a gprs subscription.
8)voice notes do not get saved.
9) no radio or equiliser settings.
10)rollerball navigation is not upto the mark.
