As far as EDGE technology goes, the data transfer speeds are terrible, you want something faster look for something that is HSPA or "3G"
Hi Gracie, what about the EDGE technology, it's an improved version of GPRS that uses other modulation to carry more data. AN IMPORATANT NOTE; NOT all area are covered with EDGE, the most coverage goes for GPRS, u shall see a "E" symbole if EDGE coverage is availabe and ur mobile supports it. Regards
Hi guys, im quite a dummie about EDGE technology and im not making any excuse. Could somebody tell me how EDGE works or how can i make use of it with an EDGE capable fone. Thanks

I don't know what should I choose because I like the design of 8320 but I also want the built in gps like 8820.so confuse
i own a black berry curve and think its a great phone, a bit complicated at first but after a few days i am kinda good. my problem is i do not fully understand how the wifi works. but overall it a great device. thank u.
Can this thing get on to the email & load up a website such as Etrade to buy and sell shares?
i like the color its really nice hope that u guys could come up with more colors and designs
I hated it after 24 hrs ,after a week I detested it.So designed by someone who does not do business on the go. Really fiddely!!!!
Dam,i realy do wish this had GPS, the 8310 has GPS BUT NO Wi-Fi and then now the 8320 has Wi-Fi BUT NO GPS :-( My Mum wants a Blackberry with Wi-Fi and GPS, does anyone know a BlackBerry with both? Maybe the upcoming 9000?
8320 is about $530CAN right now...im using the unlocked version with rogers sim
I've had the 8320 for 3 weeks now ..and its a great phone!
1) the wi-fi works IF you know how to turn it on properly
2) no problems with texting or anything else
3) battery life is pretty good too
overall....i'd give it a 8 out of 10.
If they would get xenon flash, 5mp, gps, and all the functions it has now....it would be on top of the market
think this is the best BB currently available (same for 8310) depends if you want wireless or GPS. Yes I know....we want both but.....
i work at a cell phne stre my self the blackberry curve is the best pda phone!!!!!!
I owned this for a week, then took it back to T-Mobile and cancelled. 1) The wifi could never connect, even inside T-Mobile Hotspots. 2) I couldn't get text messages from anyone not using T-Mobile, and they couldn't fix it after multiple calls over the course of an entire week.
You guys are insane. I sell these things all day and have used one myself since it came out in November. THe battery life easily lasts two days for me.
I work for T-Mobile or Duetch Telecom and therefore sell these blackberrys all day. The device is superior for emails. There is none like it. The web browsing can be a little slow, but still very efficient. Very cheap and affordable email and iternet. Device comes in GOLD SILVER and TITANIUM.
