Jane, 24 May 2010Hi - I'm a newcomer to the BB world! Please help me - I'm trying to get an ACCURATE answer to... moreSure, just do this:
I use crackberry.com to get my themes, just go to any forum with themes for your model and OS version (go to menu>options>about to find the version you have, either 4.6 or 5.0). Once you find the theme you want, download the ZIP file and extract everything. Open Desktop Manager and select Install apps. Then using the app loader, open the folder you extracted and select the .AXL file. It should be the only one showing. And then select install, it should restart the phone and the go to Themes and it should be there!

Hi - I'm a newcomer to the BB world! Please help me - I'm trying to get an ACCURATE answer to the following question: If I have no data plan and disable all internet access (incl. wifi) can I install BB themes via a data cable from my PC (where the themes have been downloaded to) and will I be able to use them successfully thereafter?? I know this seems like a waste of BB functions to not use the internet but its a cost saver really, so please don't scorn me for not using my BB for all its skills!! Thanks - hope you can help me, I'd genuinely love to know!
