Navin, 26 Oct 2009Hi, Have never used BB, would like to know if i can save an attachment from mails of type t... moreHi, I had been using a BB Bold for almost a year and I can told you this is a totally different experience.
According your questions, I can answer some of them, if other had not made already

You can read, view or save the attachment form mails, this is a plus if you have Documents to Go, profesionall Edition. It gives you the possibility to edit those mails and attachments.
AS a normal email editor, you can attach those files from your memory, could be the phone memory or a microSD card memory instead. The bad thing is that not office 2007 fils could be open, but i heard some info regarding an application that can do it.
BB has its own browser, but you can also use OPERA (mini) or BOLT. If you want to use youtube, a wifi connection is required for the streaming process.

Hope this is good for you.
Regards

Hi all!!I bought this baby just 2 days back from Planet M in Ludhiana,Punjab.India @14800.In the beginning,I found it pretty difficult to get used to the user interface & nothing seemed to work on it.My GPRS wasn't working as well.It was only WiFi which worked seemlessly. Then, from my friends I came to know the untill one gets Blackberry Data Services activated, the Blackberry's just a simple handset for recieving/calling & msgs.
I chose a plan & got Balckberry Data activated. After that, the experience's changed completely from bad to awesome.None other phones even can be compared to a Blackberry.I now know the reason for it's addiction too as I'm addicted. All my mail accounts are just one click away.I receive my mails as soon as it reaches my mailbox. Moreover,it's received as a msg.The call clarity, network, rings're great too.I've used a number of handsets so far ranging from Nokia to Sony Ericsson,Motorola,Htc,but none can even be considered as close to the experience I'm having.
I'm connected 24x7.I've used almost all QWERTY keyboards but the feeling & spped one achieves from Blackberry is just amazing!!
The screen clarity is cool too.I now need to keep the Blackberry always with me.Though the only problem I faced was transferring my contacts. The contact list's pretty large of 300 plus contacts with complete details from nos, addresses, everything. The sound of music's cool too.Overall,an amazing phone,my first Blackberry & probably going to be my inseperable part for a long long time....

I am a developer and i had the luxury of working on this model.
It looks brilliant and it feels amazing in your hand. This has the best qwerty keypad. The keys are nicely spaced and when you press a key you know that you have pressed it. Also, because of the good spacing once you get used to the layout you can type blind folded! I have also used nokia 5730 and its qwerty was not that impressive after i used BB's.

The most impressive part is its optical track-pad. It is just marvelous! It is very sensitive and you dont have to move your thumb around a lot to navigate. The negative part about the track pad, which i should mention wont apply to most of the ppl, is that scrolling lengthy documents will be difficult. I had to navigate thru huge amounts of log files for debugging and it was a pain in the a$$.

It takes a lot of time to boot up but i was told that it is because of the BB OS and not the phones fault.

I did play around with the cam for 2 days. I should say it is way better than the 2.0MP of E63. Ppl who cry about it not having a flash should try using their head. Even if it had a flash the images taken in the dark with the use of a flash wont be good enough to get it printed. So i really dont think flash matters.

The last thing i used in it was the WiFi. Configuring wifi was very simple and it got connected pretty fast. Also the time for searching for any wireless network was pretty less. So, it scores very good on terms of wifi.

I dint use any other feature so i wont comment about any of that. Hope my experience helps others. and btw i would go for this anyday over e63.

I am planning on buying this. Good luck guys!

I just find this phone is the very basic BB (most affordable) so that they can chat(BB messenger) with people with BB bold/storm.
Function wise , i think Nokia, SonyEricsson have def. much much better Features.
