yes i m using it and the touchpad feels gr8..no problem atall...i dnt know y this phn has been given an avg 7.2 rating....it's worth atleast 8..
gr8 phn...but camera is not that good...otherwise very nice + cheap
the optical pad is really good, its like a laptop mouse, the faster you move your thumb the more it moves the position of the cursor. I was apprehensive at first but it is good
aditya, 11 Aug 2009What's the OS on this new curve? Is it the new OS 4.5? Please reply.......OS 4.6.1
Anyone who has used it ,, can tell the feel of the optical touch as compared to the trackball ... is it reliable ?
Still, no 3G! Wait for 5 minutes to download a 1mb file. Come on, that's s h i t.
What's the OS on this new curve? Is it the new OS 4.5?
Omg, seriously guys, please stop posting useless comments like "No 3G!!" on and on. There are people who want constructive opinions on phones here. gsmarena should stop all this, all this spams are kills the purpose of posting opinions.
Johnny, 10 Aug 2009I am a Nokia Fan, but after breaking my Nokia N series Phone, I am now considering this BB Pho... moreDude blackberry can definitely serve your requirement.you will stay connected all the times even with social networking sites and work...im personaly using a bold, nut trust me much better than any push email phone.
Johnny, 10 Aug 2009I am a Nokia Fan, but after breaking my Nokia N series Phone, I am now considering this BB Pho... morehey jonny i use a blackberry bold myself and iv found the running softwere the best i have ever used on a handset.. its tru what they say once you get a blackberry you will use blackberry for life.. i love mine and i wouldn't trade it for anything.. i have an i-phone aswell but i still like the blackberry better.. it's just better for doing you facebook and msn and emails.. no phone has compared because unlike other phones blackberry emails and facebook is real time messinging unlike the i-phone were it just works off push email
8520 vs 8900 i think the best is 8900 with 3.2 megapixel n auto focus plus flash..
why would blackberry go down if feature's after there release of the pop selling 8900 curve and im not sure how it would go with the track pad as aposed to the track ball on the current blackberrys.. and no 3G bummer
I am a Nokia Fan, but after breaking my Nokia N series Phone, I am now considering this BB Phone as it seems to be damn cheap with regards to the price.
What about the performance of this phone??
Do you think it would do well or should I just go ahead and stick with some Nokia E series budget phone, for example E 63. At the moment budget is an important factor for me especially during this recession period. Have loads to do in life and money coming in is not so sufficient.
All I would do with the phone apart from the basic stuff of calls and sms is I am keen on using it for checking my mails using the wifi feature and maybe instant messenger once again using the wifi option and listening to mp3's that I store/ transfer on to the mem card and maybe once in a while streaming music from the internet thru wifi.
Do you think this BB phone can do a good job.
Genuine users of this phone only please reply.
I would like to confess that I do not know anything much about B Berry apart from hearing about business people using this phone.
Hope no one would misguide me.
In case you need any info about Nokia, please let me know. I may be of some help.
Thank you once again.
Have a great day.
iof your in two minds between this and the bold choose 8900 curve, this hand set though great and does all tht blackberry should dosnt contain many of the things that made the curve great its a budget BB at the end of the day and will seel well to people who are not fussed what BB they got though if you like ur music this BB will rock your world with space for plenty of music and all the BB features. the new one has a dumbed down screen, dumbed down look, and no 3g but does have 3g......at the end of the day its your choice but the original curve is far better as well as the original bold, though will all the handset being modernised what else will come foprm BB????
Dave, 04 Aug 2009I want to buy a BlackBerry and which type that nice and perfect for me? I'd love BlackBerry wi... morei think u should buy jave....
