Samoa Joe, 02 Oct 2018I used to call Wendy with that phone Haha oh man!! You got me there! So glad Paige didnÂ’t fire you tonight lol
This phone was decent. Was a huge upgrade from the crappy 8330. It didnÂ’t feel cheap and looked very classy! Music player sounded pretty good too!
According to Crackberry: "The 8530 is a CMDA only device. It does not have a SIM card slot. Koodo discontinued selling CMDA devices in July 2011. They are HSPA now. You cannot use it on Koodo unless Koodo has a CDMA footprint in your area and allows you to activate the device on CDMA." I suggest Visting your Carrier (the one who gave you the sim card or the carrier company who has it's name on it) for more info.

i had this phone for a week and binned it this phone is shocking the screen would weird out randomly and then the battery would be fully charged and then just randomly die and i bought it new will never buy blackberry again.
I had ditched Boost Mobile and ditched the BB Curve 8330 and upgraded to Virgin Mobile for this phone and OMG the difference was amazing!! The trackpad over the little ball was amazing the phone ran smooth and now had wifi, the music player didn't sound noisy like the previous BB, this phone was a real pleasure to work with! Very tough! I unfortunately lost this phone after I had dropped it in a bucket of water.. :( I was so upset
Great little machine!
