i had bberry9900 and now i got 9220 and i want to transfer contact to the new devise..please help
I have owned this phone for a month. I really love this phone's features a lot as compared to my HTC incredible S model.
The FM radio and visibility under the bright sunlight is far more better that HTC. The call quality us crisp and decently clear. I am really amazed by this budget phone.
The wonders of this phone is the battery pack which provide me two days of heavy use on a single charged. 2 hours of video, 2 hours of video streaming and 2 hours of calling. I think mostly because this phone lacks of 3G support thus spare more juice on it.
however, this phone is not recommend for gamer with its small screen and relatively low res. but, its more than enough for reading email and text.
As for texting, this phone is a champ. and, it works far more better than 8520.
Enjoy reading :)

You could do it through bluetooth, or by connecting both devices to the desktop software and click transfer from one device to the other

Yam, 13 Jul 2012How to transfer phone book files from Blackberry8520 to 9220 the shortest way? I've just chang... moreYou can use Blackberry Desktop Manager. Sync your 8520 to your outlook/calendar, or back up the whole thing.
Unplug your phone, and plug in your 9220 for the first time. It will at some point prompt you if you want to use your backup into the 9220. Do so.
But if you wish to start new and ignore the backup, then re-sync the 9220 from your outlook/calendar after you have configured the sync settings (from Outlook to Phone, Phone to Outlook, or Two Way; Choose Outlook to Phone)

Yam, 13 Jul 2012How to transfer phone book files from Blackberry8520 to 9220 the shortest way? I've just chang... moreHello Yam,
Use BB Desktop Manager (a CD installer is included in your 8520 package or you can download latest version on BB web site),all device data such as contacts, phone setting and apps will be backed up to your PC. In that application you have the option to transfer all device data to other device (9220). Or you can select if you only want to transfer contacts, apps etc.
Hope this helps :)
