(before you argue the age of QNX, Linux and OpenBSD are the equivalents on Android and iOS there)
Hope that clears it up a bit :)

If cheap price is the only requirement of an individual to select a phone, why not go for Firefox phone? Will you be happy with that?
THe same too costly argument popped up for Jolla phone too. It is around 270 USD. Now what do these "twooh kowstly" gang wants? All mobile phones free?
PS: Hey, is this comment the beginning of a Mark Antony speech?
Its nice phone as i saw the specification , but i just scare of non removable battery , as all mobiles when battery is weak or damaged we can exchange easily
This is actually an interesting phone! Finally Blackberry made something good. The specs. are promising, especially the battery capacity.
But the price is too high. Despite how good it is, the reputation of Blackberry is very low for now. It will hard to compete with iPhone 6 or Android phones..
Can't wait to know the full review of it.
AnonD-310948, 29 Sep 2014Go for Android? It already runs android apps! There is no need. That is my point too exactly. There are a lot of people why says BlackBerry should adopt android. My questions was at them.

Blackberry OS came from 1999, not that it is not a good OS. But this is an OLDER OS than android and iOS, as iOS is older than Android as well. Meaning Android OS is the newest out of the three!
Yasso, 28 Sep 2014Does anyone knows if BB OS 10 can work with Viber? It can. Please ask Viber developer to make a proper version for BlackBerry 10 OS.
AnonD-313309, 28 Sep 2014i used to jst hate BB.... but for this phone i would like to congratulate BB.... thumbs up frm... moreWhat is the fun if everyone wears same dress or ride same bike? You have a million and more android phones over there to choose from.
This phone is for people who wants a different experience, work in a better way and got a different lifestyle. They are even willing to pay the price. So let be it.
Why everyone are saying BlackBerry should go for android? Are people so afraid of something different?
Anonymous, 02 Sep 2014What you blackberry negative posters don't understand is the way blackberry phones work and fu... moreThank you! I've been suffering for a long time thinking I was the only person who thought like this. You have hit the nail on the head, exactly, because I call myself a serious user of technology first and foremost.Let the discussion continue regarding the Passport (so long as it's constructive opinion). I love it!
Yasso, 28 Sep 2014Does anyone knows if BB OS 10 can work with Viber?Yes, it works for viber perfectly
eddy, 24 Sep 2014Black so good and am loving it, but blackberry will continue to have low sales of their new mo... moreDon't you understand that the Network Carriers have forced the new data plans on BB. They make tons of cash from customers from data hungry Apple and Android phones and not much with BIS plan. That's why they are railroaded to this new data plan in order to be even supported by the Carriers.
0cool, 27 Sep 2014Honestly its personal opinion which you like grow upNo offense to you about the term "grown up", but I see chilren playing games, and so forth, on Smartphones. But what is there for children who grow up and get tired of playing games, and so on,and want to, say, write books. I think these ambitious people deserve devices which can priorotise serious things without being swamped by entertainment. The passport seems capable enough to do this.
Yasso, 28 Sep 2014Does anyone knows if BB OS 10 can work with Viber?yes it does support viber

Well done blackberry

In truth, nothing made is 100% perfect,so I cheerlead BB.To those who only find fault I say, "You want a PERFECT device, then MAKE one yourself. I'll give you a screwdriver."

Business people are NOT the only serious users of technology.Professors, scientists, the literati, thinkers, are also very serious folks who sometimes have no time for multimedia antics.BlackBerry was founded on serving these people before the name Smartphone was coined.
