As slim as the original Pearl and as... morethanks mate. dis will be my 1st blackberry fone ever used. so i know its a excellent fone 1st tym & dats why i'm gonna buy dis fone straight away. no questions asked. end of day. its got everything u need from b.berry. except no video call. but who uses's video call these days. txt & bbm is more fun 2 use. lol & well done 2 b.berry. u've made me really happy :) just can't wait 2 get dis fone in my hand. a truelly perfect blackbeery pearl 3g 9105. :)

MrJanvz, 21 Jun 2010almost great phone. poor battery life.Battery life is NOT poor! It's more than average these days especially for a handset like this! If you think that this is poor performance for this handset, try comparing this to others and see!

I love its design. Simple, smaller and non-qwerty. But unfortunately no video call&fm radio. Features that I consider important.
But overall, I want it more than any other blackberries handset. :D

I won't comment about Pearl, but BB in general.
RIM Canada, got big surprised with BB demands in Indonesia, it were sold like peanuts, from high school students, house wifes, business men used these amazing smart phones, they like the BB Messenger mostly and FB/ Twitter and Push Email in it of course.
Indonesian users can get link to the BB network thru the operators by SMS, on daily, weekly or monthly basic.
About 50cents/USD/Day - 15USD/Month

I haven't tried it out, but I do understand why battery life would be an issue. It has a high res screen, 3G the same processor as the Bold 9700 and the batter is only like 1150maH (I think). The battery is enough to get your through a full day of use but probably not enough to get you through the next day. It doesn't matter to me since I charge my phones every night but I would love to test the 9700. Everyone says the 9700 has the best battery life in a BB.
