Will this 'phone work in Japan or Korea?

I am thinking of upgrading to this phone but haven't had a Blackberry before (always used Samsungs). Is it difficult to adjust to texting with the qwerty keyboard? That's the main reason I haven't swapped to a Blackberry in the past. The reviews and comments about the phone look very promising. Has anyone changed from Samsung to Blackberry recently?

i was going to get this phone just because it looks good. i was going to use it for music and fm radio, but it doesnt have fm radio it totally changed my mind. i reeally like this phone. blackberry phones should have FM RADIO!!

You people need to stop hating on the BlackBerry Pearl 8220. This in my opinion is the best BlackBerry out (next to the Pearl). I'm a 13 year old girl and this phone is great. I love the main menu and that they now have a separate folder for the SMS/MMS messages. If you don't have the phone you do not need to be hating on it because you don't know the features, no matter how many reviews you've read. I love the Pearl-type keyboard...I think that the multi-tap is easier than the full QWERTY keyboard. FYI you can use both hands to type on this phone. I am completely in love with it. I love the way the multimedia looks now. I love that when the phone is closed, you can view your SMS and e-mails without having to open the phone. When you open the phone it goes to the message.
So don't hate on the phone if you don't have the phone.

Great phone!! I got it 3 weeks ago, i´ve had no problems with it, the software is similar to the BB Bold. Is fast, volume is really good, and the phone itself has style its really nice, love all the applications, GPS MSn Messenger... Overall I love it!!

What I like bout this phone is that it's classice style. It sets apart from other model of Blackberry also. I look at the specs it's not bad.

i think this phone is the best, good camera quality, you can even check your emails at an important meeting. i think it awsome.

when closed, if you receive a text or email, does it appear on the front screen, or do you have to actually open the phone. Need an answer by 5pm today...help

Hey, Just got this phone less than 2 months and when shutting flip yea, the phone goes off by itself and then will turn back on. Sometimes does not come on at all. Not real happy. I think there is some kind of malfunction with this phone and it costs way too much to have any troubles.

Has anybody had problems with the phone turning itself off? I am on my 2nd handset in 3 weeks and now this one has done it.

Great phone, yes has skype aka iskoot, and when it shuts it show the clock and date for however long you chose then it fades out and goes black,

Wondering about getting one of these but can any one tell me if the vibrate works at the same time as the ring tone, as a Nokia or Sony Ericsson, or separately as a Motorola or Samsung? Thanks
