Its not bad as you think im running 6.0.1 im satisfied with the priv its not running hot like before and performance has improved a bit... but if you want to improved its battery here are some apps which i use that helps a lot greenify, pixel filter, and hibernation manager... it saves tons of battery life.... after the update i notice it charger bit faster and not that hot as before.... but if you want to charger more faster just put phone in airplane mode... and lastly put the animation into .5x in the developer options... hope this helps....to all priv users like me trust me... ill keep this phone for a while every time i use it in public people turn their heads especially when i use the physical keyboards....

Anonymous, 27 Jul 2017Heat issue was caused by the S808 cpu. During that period, all Snapdragon CPU had heat problem... moreand fortunately just now I bought a set with Snapdragon 808 :( :( :(
so I have to live with the heat

Im using a flip cover but still I feel the heat after using net for a while !!! but after today's update its charging very fast, I received set with OS-6.0, after upgrading to OS-6.0.1 battery life increased a little bit.

Got my Priv almost a year now and I must say that the phone is fantastic. The performance is smooth, BB launcher is full of useful features and the slide out keyboard just makes sense to me.
Only problems I have is the battery and display. I do get a full day out of it, but the stand by time is terrible. On screen time is good though, can achieve about 5-6 hours depending on tasks but if you leave your phone untouched it will still drain. As for the display, it's suffering on screen burning because of the AMOLED.
Overall, performance is good and the phone looks stunning. My Priv always catches the eyes in a big crowd against my friends iPhones and S8's which is also cool.
I highly recommend this phone for business use, as the emailing and BlackBerry HUB works like a boss.

At first it seems weird... moreGood opinion. How does the email handling compare to that of the S8+ ?. Do you prefer using the Priv for all your emails?

i bought 3 years ago z 10 , the camera clarity is amazing, bb hub is simply superb, but I faced camera problem, every time it shows camera can't start, now i am about to buy a BB prive....I am mad about blackberry
