Anonymous, 25 Nov 2015Sorry Blackberry, but touchscreens and android arent saving you from the ruin. Do you really t... moreHey,,,,, you!!!!!! You currently living in 2015 with Advanced Operating System with tons of Free Apps on Android but you don't have any Privacy and Security Feature, because for what???? Hanging Android OS!!!!! LOL..... The BlackBerry Phones Only made for Business and Power User who want Their Security, Privacy and Productivity First.....!! Not a cheap application like available as well as in Android!!!.. I Currently using BlackBerry Z3,since last a year ago and it works fine... no hang... no lag like your Android.... LOL !!!! Again......!!! Now listen if you have few knowledge about that Android the I will tell you firstly it's an Open Source Operating System and everyone makes an application and easily upload on this!!!!!!. They have no restrictions that's the reason every Android phone Hanged easily but the Others like BlackBerry and Apple they have come with Some restriction on Operating System. Reason is simple no hangs....!!!!. And yes Always remember BlackBerry is only made for Professional's not for everyone like you...... Child.....!!! Before talking and Written about BlackBerry, firstly Read about them and use it and read the Story behind his Classic BlackBerry BB Logo!!!! And one thing mind your tongue !!! You Android?????? LOL!!!!!!
Well built, tactile feedback(keys) may be appreciated by some. It would have been even cooler if the keys were a display, able to change the characters based on context.

This guy is a bit expensive, the specs are solid not top of the line but fairly up there. But having android is a huge step for blackberry and i think once they put out a few more android blackberries one will be worth picking up.
Priv the new android revolution
i live in india and no news of india launch, so arranged my phone from uk. Love the phone. to all the haters please don't compare to apple as its apple and oranges to each his own.
used samsung, htc before it stands out no hang or lag
does get warm sometimes but so do samsung and htc. battery life is awesome.
all in all gives a premium feel and makes me fall in love with bb again.
to all the people who say its expensive lets just say ur privacy is gonna cost u.
my only issue with the phone is the soft back of the phone something i can live with and will be sorted once get a leather back cover
those who wanna buy go for it
and to the haters envy me as much as u can but the fact is u can't pull me down
Why so expensive, firstly no use or need of keyboard then all plastic, then sliding always loose up after use? Then no Android 6. It's nothing new except when they needed they did not, now nobody is buying them in Red. Got the idea to use Andriod. No short cuts just stick 100$ classic keyboard phones. Never ever buy
AnonD-282509, 26 Nov 2015We are waiting so long for android in BB. Priv has got superb look & performance is amazin... moreThe new Nokia Lumia 950 will cost around £300 less than the priv. And the specs are higher in every aspect. Ah, the QWERTY. "Hey, look at the keyboard!" - "No need, I hear it (crackle crackle)". Plastic all over the place. Marchmellow is not installed but the phone was made of? It's not a sponge. It's a Blackberry. I lent my iPhone 6 to a friend till he will get his upgrade. ATM I'm using the BB z30. The phone is okay, and I bought it brand new and unlocked for £178. I guess the priv will cost not more than £350 in spring 2016. They want £650-750 atm on Ebay. It's a joke.
I really liked the features and the QWERTY keyboard. The edges adds a value too. But the price "you kidding me?". Wayyyy too expensive.
that's right, the blackberry missed it,but they doing good work with they enterprise and other softs .
We are waiting so long for android in BB. Priv has got superb look & performance is amazing. Only thing they have to reduce the price. They have to compete with the current dynamics.
As i am the core addict of BB, i request BB Team to look the market pricing before launching the product.
AnonD-469291, 25 Nov 2015Up until 2 years ago, all smartphones had front-facing cameras with less than 2 mp. Who cares ... moreTwo years ago...you're right. If you compare the benchmarks of bb priv, iPhone 6s and the latest Samsung, bb was built in 2013 or even earlier. If they lower the price by at least 50% they might have a chance. I have my doubts, though...

Anonymous, 25 Nov 2015Sorry Blackberry, but touchscreens and android arent saving you from the ruin. Do you really t... moreMany people still prefer a physical keyboard; that's BlackBerry's market. For those who don't need a physical keyboard, this is simply a nice bonus in the Priv. Who knows? Once you use the keyboard, you may actually like it.
The combination of physical keyboard and hardened Android security is a compelling value proposition for many, esp. those in the enterprise. They may feel it's worth the asking price.
And, btw, I've played with the Priv. Its build quality is premium. Why is it "shitty"?
