Great strategy for Bb, finally they are using the No.1 smart phone operating system, with their usual excellent physical keyboard. well done BB keep it up.
I cant wait to see this phone in UAE or Dubai.
Even if you don't care about security, that curved AMOLED screen, HUGE battery, expandable memory, and of course, that keyboard! It even has wireless charging for crying out loud! Still think it's not worth the $699 price tag?
Good for businesss !!!!
Is this Priv available for Verizon?
BB should Go thru there own OS with others..
Then why bother looking at it.. I Bet you like it, subconsciously.
John, 23 Oct 2015I think its gonna fail. Me too. Berry x android... What the hell were they thinking ?! This is a fail preview...
I wish the Priv was a bit more affordable, but it isn't a regular Android phone. The ultra secure BlackPhone 2 running Android by Silent Circle sells for $799... a $100 more than the Priv. Both Android phones target customers who require very secure communications (enterprise, governments, law enforcement, the military, lawyers, journalists, etc) but the BlackBerry Priv is more affordable than the BlackPhone 2... it also has better specs and looks much much better than the Blackphone2.
chris, 23 Oct 2015and its quite heavy 192 grms is like a brickThe iPhone 6SPlus weighs 192 grams, exactly like the Priv... and that didn't stop people from buying it.
Really a cool device ... but why android o.O where's bb os ?? is it discontinued?
not competable with any android.com. .blackberry is blackberry
Eske Rahn, 21 Oct 2015Excuse me for saying, but a pretty silly suggestion.... With the same argumentation you cou... moreThanks for this comment. I 100% agree with you.
crackberry, 23 Oct 2015Disappointed !!!! BlackBerry become cheapest droid phone..Not the cheapest. Its $699 in the US. Nor is it the "cheapest" in terms of hardware, its a hell of a phone.
AnonD-458520, 23 Oct 20151- it has true keyboard . no othe android phone has it. 2- it has curved Amoled screen 3-it... moreYou need to review your opinion - the battery is not removable
blackberry surrendered to android. it's too bad
Nice phone only ir,f print and nfc excluded.
John, 23 Oct 2015I think its gonna fail. Man hush the phone is not even out yet and you calling it a failure
KillerZeus, 24 Oct 2015i'm laughin' bout the FM radio issue. still using "SMARTPHONE" as a radio? ridiculous. It's... moreThere's nothing wrong using your smart phone as radio. It's personal preference and please respect it!
question: is it a crime for blackberry to make a dual sim phone? if they make a dual sim phone, will their company close down?
