dev, 08 May 2015Is the q10 worth buying? I just want to go for a phtsical keypad phone. I loved its shape. And... moreGo for it.. I don't play games and I only use my phone for business. The only 3rd party apps I had is whatsapp. It has removable battery which the reason I bought it. And most importantly the phone is built for business use and not for playing games or watching movies. The camera is good enough for snapping pictures. I have no regret buying it over other bigger screen touch screen smartphones.
After I updated my Q10 to 10.3, the phone developed many problems which have not been solved till now. I wish to wipe it and do a re - installation. Which is better, doing a factory reset and stay with the basic software version or installing 10.3 again?
Is the q10 worth buying? I just want to go for a phtsical keypad phone. I loved its shape. And the keypad too. But are there any problems occuring? I wont be downloading the google play and other 3rd party apps. Please guide me. Thanks
best blackberry phone i have ever had . what a beautiful smartphone with a gorgeous design .. BB 4 LIFE .

jhong, 04 May 2015i have the same problem with my q10, any solution, pls...tnxHi,first of all this is good sign,Your hardware is work properly and the problem in software,OS.I started to use 10.3.OS long before it was released officially and never had problem or bugs,I new the OS is stable and fluid even on leaks. When I received official update OTA for my Z10 it was not big file like the other had, just 152 MB to complete the OS version release. But I started to feel strange behavior of the phone, slower, flickering and so on,it works but different way.The conclusion was: to update the phone OTA is easy way but not the safest.Looks like some files had been corrupted and that is why many of us had problem and bugs after update,or apps of the provider make the difference. So what I did, wiped the phone and reload the OS with autoloader and wualia, the phone is like new.10 days ago I got my Q10,the phone had been wiped by previous owner and I just reload it with new OS using autoloader,no bugs,no reboot,no problem with ring tone. And I have the latest OS even if my provider did not release it.I am not IT person but Crackberry.com is the best community to deal with.Cheers.

For example. Me and my brother were hiking the Grand canyon, both with bell and he would never have any connection. Me with my passport always had a connection.
[deleted post]This depends on what You going to do with Your phone,I think the BB is not for games and apps lovers, but excellent for email, messaging, browsing and calls.Q5 and Q10 the same family with physical key board, but Q10 has much better specs and quality build. So this will be fair to compare Z10 and Q10,both have the same specs except of screen size and quality and for me was very important the battery back up.I used Z10 100-3 model one year and loved it,but battery the weakest point when to use data or watch movies.Display is good, very good key board, prediction is awesome, good body quality.Camera OS the same, but for me Q10 works much better:very good battery back up,screen smaller but works better for my yes,key board is the best in the world. So again what You are going to do,did not miss physical keyboard, need bigger screen go for Z10,need good battery, physical keyboard go for Q10.Both the same BB10 OS,both well build and perform very good, both have some bugs the rest is up to us.
Guys, thinking of buying one as a 2nd phone. Already got a Nexus, but this one replaces the non-smartphone that I currently tag myself with. Should I go for it?
This device has been highly underestimated marrying the best of touch screen and keyboard technology. If you can still get your hands on one I strongly suggest you do so. Available for significantly less than at the launch it is a powerful productivity tool as well as having strong multimedia credentials like its family member, the Z10. Strongly recommended.
Use this phone for over 10 months.
This is the best, the battery is strong (especially for my work), operation is very smooth and fluid.
About the apps, i know that many people still complaining about this. But for me personally, the apps still good though, amazon and blackberry world are enough for my need.
Don't need to compare blackberry with android or iOS or windows. Back to your need guys, cheer up :)
I believe, blackberry have learned so many things.
munna, 28 Apr 2015Audio problem, eveery 2 or 3 hours my phone is not ringing, audio vedio sound also not ... moreIn Your case there is not hardware problem,I would re install the OS clean and start from scratch. The best way to use autoloader from Crackberry.com. or install the OS You got the phone with and update it again. But the Crackberry community the best.
