I have 9500 just 6month old and it will hang/freez at any time, not happy and even not up to the expectation. BB has to really work hard on touch screen phones.

i have also same problem in strome 9500. reallyits not a good phone .
i suffered in this phone . wastage of money . better nokia i think.
dont go for black berry no propoer service station nothing at all.

Hi guys i have been using my storm for more than 6 months now . dont know why people say that it gets stuck or something????? believe me my phone never stuck in my six months experience and now that i have upgraded to os 5.0.0.848 i love it more than ever but still rim must enable opengl to all storm users so that they can also enjoy the new games

yes the phone is actually a sweet phone,looks good and handable but the problem i have with it is that the touch screan is not ruged...i mean its sensitivity is easly tuated.the phone hangs anyhow it drags...please bb producers should do something about it..

Still using this phone 18 months on (refused an upgrade to keep it).
I protect the screen with ebay covers and have only ever had a software fault which BB repaired under warranty.
Charge will last me two days easily. My only issue is that my friends and family are moving onto cheaper androids, therefor I've got noone left to use my free BB messaging with!!!!
In areas of marginal signal strength (Vodafone) it doesn't seem to be as good as other phones, but the messaging, email and web access are superb..although it does let itself down with no wifi......
No doubt I'll go onto an android eventually...but long live my Storm.....

The only way to solve this was to remove the battery and restart. Then I realized that it would have been the new downloaded applications. I deleted them and it worked out. My only problem with the phone is the battery life. It is very low.

After seing the comment on this cell that interface (touch screen)is not much effective, sometime gets hacked also,Culd somebody suggest me,Shuld I go for this mobile or not.

Its a lovely touch Screen i ever met before.but some time i feel some trouble to use BB messenger & also many time unusually it hangs.then at that time iv to remove the battery.As i knw that Storm has an old O.S.
So i need to knw do we have any option to get rid of this problem.Awaiting an early responce....

good phone but find limited with the amount of apps you can download as you can only save them on phone not the memory card

Am experiencing a serious problem with my phone,the the touch screen fails to respond or highlights a different icon from the one i've pressed.Someone with the same model advised me to wipe the memory and reset it afresh but that hasn't helped much.Any advise?

Excellent touch screen phone. No "real" keypad except what you see on the touch screen.
No wifi - this is the only drawback/failing of this phone.
Will play youtube no problems.
Media capabilities somewhat lacking i.e. no FM radio.
Great for messaging - BBM, e-mail,SMS, MMS, etc, etc.
Adequate processor - fast enough.
