The signal may be in a black spot. We have the same problem in Malaysia also and it is because of the network and not the phone. I suggest your change your service provider.
I am surprised to use this set as signal drops some time mail are not comming properly. I have given to repair but problem is still there.
this phone is good litle slow but mine recomandation is good, anybody know how to use gps without gprs or bis!!!
the new storm 2 is not on the vodaphone website and not going to be released till end of november and this is just a rumor
The final nail in the coffin of Storms is the HTC HD which does all this over-hyped peice of junk can do and more, much more, and far better
Finally the STORM 2 appears on Vodaphone websites. Tried to order. Delivery time 2-4 working days...
I would agree that the Storm 9500 is the worse cell phone I have ever had. It constantly cuts off when you are on a call, it freezes up, the keyboard is very frustrating, and the processing time takes way to long. I hear there is less problems with Blackberry Curve.
KAPISH DIXIT, 17 Sep 2009can any body tell me the touch is working fine or not because i heard touch is very bad to opratingTouch screen works fine but you will need a week to get used to it. it works very different from other phones. if you are going to take an internet contract with it i recommend u this phone.
I got this phone from Vodafone 2 weeks ago.
Ups- Its very fast. Nice design. GPS work prety good(almost all europe covered). Good camera altough its just 3.2mp. Very good network reception.
Downs- Blackberry os very hard to find applications on the web. You will need a week to get familar with the touch screen. Cannot place a call from an sms menu. I'll rate this phone 8/10.
Worse phone I've ever bought. Slow. Hangs, continuously. Typing on the touch screen is AWFUL. Did I mention slow?
The Bold and Curve are light years ahead.
Does anyone know where can I download maps for my phone(i live in croatia).I would like to install those maps on my phone and use them via GPS.. help please?!
had all the blackberries and this is my fav with the curve 8900 a close second. bold looses signal and crashed too much. make sure you do all the setting and software tweeks once you get it though as "out of the box" aint what it should be. build quality is brilliant. as good as the b&o mobiles and better than any bb, nokia, sony, lg etc. extended battery plus cover by SEIDIO is best.
I have been disappointed with my phone and have written on the subject, complaining about the lag, camera, etc, etc. Yesterday, however I installed the latest firmware .173 which does genuinely improve the functionality....although it remains limited by the specs of the handset.
i just bought this phone and am enjoying it although video recording is below par. is there a program i can install and watch live tv streaming on this phone. am also having nokia n95 and i have some programs for line tv streaming
well i brought this phone last two months ago.. but im suprised bec just for a 1 week i need to return this for repair. phone hung, mp3 not plying., can;t read the memory and mostly stockup when you soft reset.
its different from other touch screen mobiles.
little complicated but when u get used to it, its a sexy mobile. i just loved it

lacks wifi, kinda the only major drawback it has ....rest is all nice
basically a buisness phone so no need for extra entertainment...if ur used to touch screen, then it has one of the best
dun leave bluetooth on...battery aint much good..but still, dude us it as a mobile ..charge it or keep spare one
