I work at Rogers and I have tried both the Iphone and the Storm...Iphone is a totally superior MEDIA device over any blackberry, but is only a GOOD phone definitely not a great one. Blackberrys are better phones but they are definitely not the best media devices around and do not contain as much applications.

If you are a Business person i strongly suggest a Blackberry. Best E-Mail support and full qwerty keyboard is awesome for mails and text messages

If you are young and tech-savvy and like to always have your music on the go, watch videos and do a lot of browsing but you are not part of the business world...go for the Iphone

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2009Amazing Phone! I am running Blackberry OS v4.7.0.106, which is quite an improvement over early... moreDo you not think that your stated job prejudices your view, given the Vodafone and RIM link -up, you were hardly going to suggest the iPhone now were you? Bit silly if you didn't think this would get spotted.

tanzir, 23 Feb 2009which one is better? storm or iphone.....????For sure Iphone. Iphone has the most best touch screen than anyphone in market, It is supported with over 15,000 Applicaiton, Music/Video/Podcast Access that no other Brand can offer and wished they had. Best phone for checking e-mails.

Some readers name Samsung F480. F480 is a basic touch screen phone with no support. It is a basic phone. Blackburry does not even support Wi-Fi.

That si why every brand tryign to copy Iphone and no success.

Amazing Phone! I am running Blackberry OS v4.7.0.106, which is quite an improvement over early versions. Have had phone 3 months and wouldnt change it for anything, RIM gave me one to demonstrate as I am a Business Consultant for Vodafone
You really need to read blackberry and crackberry forums if you would like true feedback on this phone - none of this drivel from people who obviously havent used it. No bluetooth? What a joke - bluetooth works fine. Cameras great - like all phone cameras its not a high spec digi camera, and works best under natural light, but good pics. Phone will support a 16Gb Micro SD card, I am using one.
Blackberry beats iPhone handsdown, just far more powerful, business savy, and secure device.
Phone syncs fine with Blackberry desktop desktop software - those having issues may need to upgrade their desktop software and try again.
More and More applications are available for download via computer or OTA, and Blackberry are launching their App store soon (Like the itunes one), currently its in Beta version.
But definitely read on blackberry related sites for true reviews from users who know what they are doing - most posts here are from muppets.

Look at RIMs applications on their pages and it is clear where they perceived the phone to fit in the market. Whatever the motive for RIM bringing the Storm out early, it should have been a resisted temptation until the product was ready. Are they so shortsighted they cannot see the commercial damage they inflict on themselves if they bring out half baked products?
