Unfortunately this phone is in only in CDMA so far and it cannot be run in GSM as it does not have a sim card slot... So this phone cannot be used outside of USA for now..
But hopefully, a GSM version of the phone will be released soon.. :)

The thing u need to check is if the service provider in ur country support blackberry service. If u do not have blackberry service, u cant set up ur email address and blackberry messenger. :)
